I recently bought the Domane SL 6 Gen 4 for 2565€. Now the Madone SL5 is 3000€ here as well (including 19% VAT). It was 4400€ before. I felt a little sorry for getting an endurance bike over a race bike because my body would allow a more aerodynamic body position and because IMO the Isospeed is overengineered an unnecessarily heavy. However the Domane comes with Di2 and I would call electronic shifting an necessity with those integrated frames. It is an absolute pain to replace any wires. Surprisingly the Domane is almost as heavy. I'd call 8,7 kg for an aero bike a pretty bad value. Remember that Trek Stores always have excellent 24h service and that they always match online prices.
