Looking great Nick. If you can grab an 808 #32 17g camera on ebay ( around $65) it would work on most of your planes. Nicely done on this flight. Keep safe & well

Yes, you need to add a bit of weight, not trim... when you adjust trim, you might have to constantly adjust it according to your airspeed.. you might need more trim when you are slow than you would at full throttle because you are changing the flight characteristics.. set the yrims to zero and add a bit of weight out on the opposite wing tip.. I love your ingenuity mate 👍

Gotta have a crack at it, right! I can't help myself mucking about with cameras and gear I've got. Couldn't believe how long it took to get up off the ground! As @Koala Tails mentioned, adding weight to balance her out will likely even further extend rollout.. I doubt she'd fly!

Well I have a go pro and it doesn't weigh that much, and it looks like you have it secured near the root which is good. But yeah there could be issues when your model plane takes a longer run than a Cessna 172. And make sure you are not even a little nose heavy, then maybe try a 4s (assuming you were using a 3s).. ok that's all from me, you will figure it out mate.. looking forward to seeing what's next 👍

Ok one more thing lol, give yourself more elevator throw to help lift the nose..

The only trouble with adding a counterweight to the other side is the extra weight. The rollout will be extended further, at the very least. It may not fly! Try attaching the camera exactly on the CG. it will still cause trim issues because of drag, but it should be less.

You can buy an FPV camera for less than 20 bucks usd. On Amazon. I bought a Sony for maybe 30 bucks with camera, transmitter, antenna and mic with a mount. It weighs only a few grams. Ya might like to check it out if ya havnt already.
