Yeah me too. No interested for solo wildcards. And i think this year GBB change 180° from the past

@@Rindaman8 GBB itself imo is improving, at least from 2021. But the level for wildcards is lower for solos as most means of qualifying are through winning international battles-- so it might be a more competitive year in that regard since there's more experienced bbxers As for loops, oh none of you are ready.. Check out Raje and Cardona's wildcards. Gonna be the craziest year.

Onmy side I saw a lot of beatboxers taking inspiration on River "slow" style, focusing on melody even at the price of not having really hard hitting sound that mark the tempo, unfortunatly I didnt found that they did as good as the original inspiration ! But yeah as always beatboxers love to reproduce what they heard and especially when it sounds good !

Definitely that and the tooth whistle are very trendy, personally I think they’re a bit overused but that’s just common for interesting sounds, same thing with lip rolls back in 2015 and 2021-22 with poh scratch

While I love the technique, I've always avoided using it with the worry of sounding unoriginal. It's a go-to approach for “musicality” and I don't know how well it will work in a battle for younger beatboxers…

I really hate the vocal flipping sound in beatboxing. It was ok when a few did it when it was used right, but now its used by so many people in really jarring and bad ways. It just makes the whole scene feel like a bunch of kids going through puberty. Theres a reson why people call out when someone voice cracks, and its not for a good reason. Obviously Captain Yodel is an exception...😀
