Is this a new bison behavior? Has anyone else noticed this? Do they also stop for stop signs?

Bison use roads to travel, especially in winter. This bison family travels in the right lane, like cars. How did they learn to do this? I saw this family the next morning, 20 miles further up the road, about to join up with a larger herd, and still traveling in the right lane.
