Conrad’s mom died and he didn’t know how to handle her death and he didn’t want to keep disappointing her and having her watch him fail so he thought he did the right thing by letting her go. He loved her enough to let her go

I actually love how the first 3 episodes were edited I thought they did the flashbacks very well and paced it so that it literally felt like the second book coming to life😍

Why is pain and struggle and heartbreak = to Endgame? That makes NO SENSE to me… It’s toxic. Season one he called her a vain, childish haired Brat who needs to stay out of the mirror. He pushed her away CONSTANTLY because he didn’t trust her / love her enough to tell her or ANYONE what he was feeling. And all Jere has done is be there for her- Literally just SHOW UP for her. Interceded EVERY TIME Conrad hurt her ( at the bonfire, on her birthday, the Deb ball) THATS IT! That’s it! It’s the toxic culture syndrome that nurtures mental health issues, depression, and emotional trauma and calls it LOVE! I just can’t! Smh…

Too hot to handle season 5 is out and oh boy. Anyways I’m still team Jeremiah but Conrad isn’t that bad. I just like Jeremiah and belly more. Conrad and belly are cute don’t get me wrong but I just don’t feel the spark or when I see them I don’t really get that excited. With Jeremiah and Belly I do.

I guess it's a credit to the show that you can feel that way whereas I feel like the screen sets on fire everytime Belly and Conrad are together but Jere and Belly together gives me major sibling energy. 😂

Just wait and see belly will fell in love with Jere in the books it’s not like in the series in the book belly really was in love with Jere like they were dating for 2 years belly loved Conrad and Jere but both for different reasons she was in twice and both of the boys had the last name fisher and Jenny Han also said in an interview that every plot can be changed so there is also still some hope for Jere and belly to be endgame 💓💓

Hey there! Love your channel! I watched episodes 1-3 and have so many thoughts lol…honestly, this isn’t much of a love triangle because it’s clear that Belly only has eyes for Conrad (as she keeps saying over and over). A good love triangle is when the person is really confused on who to choose. Maybe both people fit well but for different reasons. If you read the book version you see that you’re correct. However, in the book Belly actually tells Jeremiah that she can’t be with him because of the feelings she has for Conrad. I honestly respect that more because it feels like Belly is kinda using people to feel better when things go wrong with Conrad. And if she cares so much about Jere then don’t lead him on to believe she could actually love him. And have enough respect for yourself and what you had/have with Conrad not to date his brother and cause more strife in his family.

It actually hurts me to see Jer look at Belly the way he does...because she is soooooo in love with Conrad he would never have a chance and its just so hard to watch.

Yay! Excited to watch along with you again this season! I agree with you! I liked episode 1, but I didn't love it. It felt too different from the previous season for me. I will say, I liked episodes 2 and 3 better, hopefully you do too!
