For anyone who doesn't know if you chain eternal favorite to another effect then spirit of yubel can search. That is definitely something alot of new yubel players miss so you good

Part of me wants to go to a local tournament for the first time but I'm shy and awkward and don't have the confidence in knowing the rules and feel like I'll make up a bunch of mistakes

Every player feels like that bro, go and just play. If you have a sibling or a friend then it’ll make it easier. Depending on what locals are around you, you’ll find some that are more chill and casual and you’ll find some that are more competitive. Personally the first locals I went to for a bit was on the more competitive side and players are much more stand off ish and I only say that because within the local discord I thanked the locals and players with a really friendly message and no one responded and had other conversations completely ignoring my thanks, but I don’t take it personally just those players aren’t the type of people you’d want in your circle of friends. I found another locals that was 5 mins down the road and the shop is only half competitive and extremely friendly and welcoming to all and new players that walk through the door. I say this to say go play and you’re definitely going to find a community of players that will welcome you and it might not be the first locals you go to but keep looking and you’ll find it bro.

@GunnerDuels the most I do is I meet ups with my friends and we battle it out and one of them is a ref for yugioh tournaments so we ask what we are doing (our combos ) are legal and we didn't mess up on something

I don’t personally understand people that are rude or dismissive to players because in order to have a community you have to be friendly at welcoming, otherwise you turn people away from Yugioh which is counter productive

Hey Sam, i just saw what u said about that eternal favourite missplay u did with spirit of yubel. A little tip about that. If u use eternal favourite to summon spirit as chain link 2, then you can activate spirit of yubel effect to search or set since it wasnt the first chain that activated, therefore it didnt resolve last

Yubel, Spirit Yubel, and Terror cant be destroyed by battle. 1:28:00. also Yubel/Terror makes your opponent take the damage instead as well so both Nightmare pain and Yubel/Terror do the damage (So would be doubled).

But spirit got negated by Scareclaw Kashtira (you can hear them talking about it when Unicorn attacked) Still I am confused by one thing in this interaction: After Spirit destruction it shouldn't be able to summon Yubel bc Scareclaw Kash negates UNTIL THE END PHASE, right? Or does the negation not count when leaving the field?
