I wish NYC could keep some of its streetcar infrastructure and modernize it like Boston did with the Green Line, I hope to visit Boston one day to see the pile of a mess known as the MBTA!!!!

I prefer the C. Beacon Street is a beautiful boulevard; reminds me of similar streets in Europe. Sadly, both the A Branch through Brighton and the E Branch to Jamaica Plain were supposed to be restored after temporary bus substitution, but in the 2000s the tracks were pulled up for good.

I'm really jealous of you guys. You guys up along the North Eastern Seaboard have some great trains and light rail to ride from town to town! I live in Southwest Ohio and there's NOTHING here but freight rail! I have to drive everywhere! There used to be some great town trolleys here though 70 plus years ago, but I'm not that old yet! 😊 I loved this branch too!

like I said in the video, Brookline and Newton were the very first streetcar suburbs, so that makes them cool in and of themselves (even if nowadays they don’t feel as much like streetcar suburbs as other surviving ones)

yeah kinda, but since it is a tram, it's fine as long as you have enough sidewalk (*glares at the B branch*) NJT is infamous for copy-pasting this concept onto heavy rail, which is, uh, not great

Wow bro this is the best light rail line in boston only because there is no competition. You would be comparing the big network green line's 4 branches to a spur of the red line (the mattapan trolley).

Maybe you should title the video is this bostons best light rail branch or is this bostons best green line branch because line refers to the whole green line instead of a specific branch. Also i think the E branch is not bad but underrated especially the extension to medford/tufts

i mean imo each branch kinda functions as a line, and the E would be better without the street running issues!
