Dabo has lost sight of the only reason why he is paid 11 million a year which is to WIN year in year out every year and nothing else. Kirby knows this, Nick knows this, but Dabo Unranked Swinney has forgotten and needs to be strongly reminded.

Clemson's problem is not Dabo's refusal to use the portal. Clemson is loaded with 4 and 5 star talent that gets worse, not better, after a year at Clemson. You can bring in portal guys, coach them down, and they will be worse too. Clemson's problem is Dabo has loaded the offensive coaching positions with Clemson homers that are high school caliber coaches. Some have no coaching experience at all.

No doubt about it. Anyone who says we were talent deficient against Duke, USCjr, or even Miami is out of their minds. Talent is not the problem. We are turning 4 stars into 3 stars. And it used to be the other way around.

Agreed. I was never a Clemson fan but I like Coach Sweeney and pull for them. Theres 5 games remaining…It’s very possible for them to win out and end up 9-3. Respectable season. Regardless I see him making changes soon after..

Dabo is not going anywhere, is not like we’re getting blown out by Duke, FSU, and Miami. All 3 games were winnable. I really believe that we have something to build with Cade Klubnik and he will improve as the season goes on. But Cade Klubnik is not Trevor Lawrence or Deshaun Watson. We need to be patient.

@@j.blu2 28-7 is not a blowout! Is not like they score 45 or 50 points. Take a look at our schedule where we blown 2 cupcakes 🧁 schools by scoring 66 and 48, those are blowouts. It is unacceptable for this program to lose 3 times per season. So I expect for this program to be ranked 12 next season and make the new playoff format. Go Tigers 🐯

This game could have turned on 5 plays or less, that not a blowout. Your logic is fked up my son. Were they soundly beaten , sure but the game itself again was close all way til middie of forth quarter. That's not blowout Typically a blowout is concidered 30 points or more.. if anything Clemson beat themselves, by fumbling in critical situations.

Clemson should’ve never been a power program. No in state talent. Dabo filled the vacuum when the Florida Big 3 falling off. They’re coming back now. He also hit big time on his OC/DC ( Venables/Morris) who got the ball rolling for Clemson.

So good for him for doing his job and recruiting while others didn’t... Ray Croc once said ‘if my competitor is drowning I’d stick a water hose in his mouth’. That what he needs to do…Having said that He’s a pre NIL / Transfer Portal coach. Him and those like him may not make this transition. It’s no longer college ball .. Its the minors…

Dabo is just telling the truth. Cabe is consistently making the incorrect reads...He did the same thing in the FSU game as well. Also, I think Dabo has buyers remorse w/ the OC Riley. The offense IS the issue @ Clemson. Their D is a top 10 defense. They ran off DJU for Klubnik, thinking he was the answer.

​​@@mister_bailey Play calling hasn't been great for them, he has weapons, and he has struggled a decent bit. They have good players in Brinningstool, Brown, and Williams, but in clutch situations, playcalling AND executing has been questionable. (It doesn't help that three of their positional coaches on offense are coaching with zero experience prior.) Also, their O-Line has struggled.

Dabo has done what every narcissistic coach, pastor, tyrant and CEO has done in the past... surrounded himself with yes-men and created an echo chamber. This all by itself will prevent Clemson from returning to a high level of performance. I've seen it over and over again... Adversity and diversity of opinion breed excellence. They are absolutely done. Dabo doesn’t haven’t Venables to bail him out anymore and the last assistant he had under Chad Morris who built the offense is gone too. Anyone who follows recruiting has seen the trends the past 2 or 3 years and Florida st and mami have been recruiting getter talent now and UNC, Louisville etc have closed the gap in the ACC. Even Duke is a better team than them now. They better get used to it because they are going back to what they always were, which is a mid tier ACC team that rose to prominence while the other better teams were on down years and going through coaching issues. Miami and Florida taking their place back amongst the top of the ACC and they ain’t going anywhere either.

Anyone who honestly thinks Clemson is lost are fooling themselves. Difference between clemson and fsu for example is clemson is still recruiting just fine. When FSU fell off they legit fell off as a direct result of Jimbo leaving. As long as Dabo is around players will want to play for him. And they see that it is simply missing a few pieces that is the issue. IF dabo fails to fire his friends and hire competent coaches...then maybe it is over.
