I actually hated the concept based on the Parks questionnaire options, but I think this mockup actually helps bring it to life. I do think it would be better seeing a full circuit version of this with a tophat or inverted top hat at that height would be insane whilst spinning, as well as maybe a twist on the decent nodding to KK and maybe a few additional elements. I do think that this is the parks intended replacement though. The verbiage to me suggests they want unique, record breaking ride experiences at their top parks to make each park a destination for those unique ride types i.e TT2, Falcons Flight etc.

Thank you for creating this! It’s nice to see what how this concept fits in the park. I really hope that they extend the layout if they are using this concept. They have the land from the Green Lantern, Parachutes, Twister, and parking lot plots. Going to rewatch this a lot more times.

If you saw my video of the 200ft version, you can see the POV camera freaking out and moving through/detaching from the train a couple times. Same thing happened on this one (but worse, I think it’s somehow speed related) when trying to film the POV part, it was pretty unwatchable. No idea why it does it. Tried some other methods but nothing worked as I wanted.

At 400 ft, it would still be tall and impressive. But this ride is too short like ka, has bad capacity, kind of gimmicky with spinning, and won’t take up green lantern space. If added to park it will be disappointing. Not sure gp would like it with all the spinning. They should work with Intamin and build americas version of falcons flight. They said they are spending 50 million at GA so hopefully they invest in a worthy replacement to break world records.

Wonder if there’s a possible scenario where the layout leaves the station from the other end, has a (most likely brief) layout in the green lantern plot, followed by a switch track to the main shuttle portion of the layout. With cedar fair’s new emphasis on theming and this being a marquee attraction for the chain maybe there would be a show building before the switch track? (Would also help with stacking/capacity)

This unfortunately seems like the most likely option, but you did a great job with the execution. It actually looks a bit like Ka in the skyline (tall top hat, inverted stall looking like the airtime hill) so I wouldn’t be shocked if this was the choice. Very easy to market for multiple records as well.

I dont know if you can really have spinning trains travelling over 90-100mph. There are times I find Time Traveler uncomfortable if I hit a certain section facing a certain way, not pain just unpleasant.. but increase the forces i dont know. Speed doesnt always mean force, but the video looks like there will be moments of high forces. Even if its 400ft tall this doesnt seem world class, not saying it doesnt look good, I would rather have a ride to happiness clone over record breaker. unless they are really going for height and speed, which would be insane because of falcons flight.

I pray to the coaster gods this won't be the replacement. I hate coasters that don't finish a full circuit, and I much prefer if a coaster can handle 3 trains. Its just not a full experience otherwise and you spend too much time waiting. The flash is opening there which will have terrible capacity and this wouldn't be any better. Give us a full sized real coaster!
