She has a lot of decent products. Needs to learn how to use them cuz I’m confused. I believe she was trying to color correct with that dark concealer at first. She just didn’t know wtf she was doing because it was the wrong corrector shade and the placement was terrible.

The first shade of lipstick went very well with the look and actually looked very pretty. I dont know why she had to go in with the brown and ruin it ..😢

It’s like the intention is there and it has potential, but the skid mark contouring and the blush that makes you look like you have an all around beard paired with the one black eye… yeah it doesn’t sit right, but I do love the colours she used.

I guess the concealer around the mouth was supposed to be an orange colour corrector, which was too dark for pale skin (definetly not contour, because it's way too warm). I've certainly used that and mixed with skin color concealer, or put the concealer/ foundation on top. Not the most professional move, but it can work. Concealer is just a type if product, it's not just for eybags :) Using it for the whole face when it wasn't intended for that, usually causes some troubles tho. Idk the foundation that she had looked too dark in my eyes, so she kindof tried to do contour with it...? That contouring is... very wrong xD Where do we put shadow? On top of the the nose bridge and the chin! Well the powder attempt was definetly better. Maybe she had a plan that was beyond my unterstanding of makeup. It's still way too red tho.

This MUA seems like she genuinely cares about doing a decent job,however she has a lot to learn. I laughed out loud at your eyebrows & the brown lipstick. Not sure why she applied the contour so low it seemed to drag your face down. Surprisingly the overall look wasn’t bad. I really enjoy your videos,especially the fact that you don’t add silly noises or loud music in the background. I’d love to see you get your hair styled after the makeup.Thanks Julia!

Peach concealer may indeed be used under eyes and in the inner corner to minimize blue/green skin tone there. But her use was... interesting 😅

I have heard of but not actually witnessed it of people using a darker concealer to contour. But I haven’t actually seen it used that way or the results of darker concealer being used as a contour so I don’t know how true it is.

I feel like sometimes they do the make up from one side of your face that then they can’t 100% see the other side, I was watching her miss that whole part of your bottom lip with the lipstick thinking just go round the other side and look!

😩😆 That horrible blush placement really just aged you by like 40years instantly . Why are so many of these ppl putting blush, bronzer, contour sooooo low. Drags the face down so much. creates a jowel effect on most.

The orange concealer is a technique to correct discoloration/darkness around the mouth. It prevents the area from looking grey after foundation. Works beautifully on darker skin tones, but does nothing for those of us who are pale.

For your dark concellar, its actually color correcting, odly tho orange, dark orange is usally used for beard (drag queens) 🤷‍♀️

When people use the darker or more orange color in the beginning it’s to cover scars or discoloration it’s a common step actually and it’s not supposed to match the skin

I am about the same color as you - and the lightest color of that Nars foundation is too dark for me. I bet she didn't use it as the main foundation because it's too dark. So instead she used it to accent.

I’d like to hear you say like “ can you fix the eyebrow or some type of constructive criticism for them, otherwise they just think they’re doing great work. Your eyebrows are horrible, your lips aren’t lined on the bottom well at all, the eyes are darker on one than the other, she used brow gel on your lower lash line I’m pretty sure, if that’s even what it was that brush was like stiffer than a stick…just wow

Why is the MUA wearing a plastic protective apron over her clothes. Yet you get one piece kitchen roll tucked into the neck.of your top. You get powder etc over the shoulders etc of your top. So you the customer need no protection. Ummm NO you always put a towel or cape or something over the front n shoulders of your customer. OR at least ghat is how i was taught. Jax UK
