Is this million-dollar HDB flat truly worth it?

Recently there are so many HDB flats hitting a million dollar mark. Looking at Toa Payoh, there are already two hitting the $1.5m mark. What does that mean for the future buyers?

Many agts talk about toa payoh. Sengkang Queenstown etc. Many forget about BOON KENG st george towers. My floor 3 units sold above 1mil in last mth ( 4rm)

The location of this hdb is very good. Near to toa payoh hub, walk to multiple mrt lines red, yellow, brown.. just across the road is toa payoh best wet market and lots of good schools ard... 2 million is too cheap. In fact of all dbss, this is the best. Whats the point for paying millions for super small condos in poor location with facilities u dont use and end up poor quality of life. This hdb gives u quality of life is what u are paying

Definitely worth it. Maybe not 2.0mil but 1.6mil If u buy tpy lor 1 is cfm 2.8kpsf, u buy this dbss is just 1.4k psf. 50% discount for this prime hdb

Different product though. Not apple to apple. 😅 But HDB meant for own stay and not for investment.

Own stay can money one. Pure investment is v hard to earn. Like the one bedder. I rather u buy a good 1.5mil hdb, then a chui 1.1mil one bedder. But if u can afford u 2.0mil 3br, then of course 3br better than this 1.5mil hdb. Because of absd, the exit audience is always own stay own stay own stay. Thats why ccr and sentosa is ggxx . Whereas freehold Landed did so well coz mainly ownstay. Even when u buy for investment, buy with mentality of own stay exit audience.

😂😂😂 the hawker center so small and only open in the morning. Lucky got many coffee shop near by. All MRT is walking distance, but is how many minutes? All need 15 minutes or more under our weather is 😂😂😂. Only good point is 1 km to good schools that will save u and family lot of time if u have kids.

I don't like toa payoh , feels like a concrete jungle . No way can compare with the view from 8B upper boon keng road , beside kallang mrt . A 4 room flat here sold for 1.31million in Nov 2023 . Much more worth than toa payoh area .

@@rachelreneerealty yes u can check . Unit 28-5** S(382008 ) . $1300 psf . i think left 94 years . My fren now already moved to a private property , now shaking both legs at the swimming pool . 4 Room @ 1.31 million , how to beat that ?

Rachel he kinda said my mentality was too average when I initially told him he was crazy ! But he believed and tried for 2 years . I can’t show u the view here obviously but if u ever check it out , u would realise the view is a deal maker . U can see stadium untill MBS + river etc .. I heard in future there will b new flats in front so he got out at right time .
