Is This One of Gran Turismo 7's Hardest Races?

During Chaz's time completing races against the AI for the Cafe Menu Books in GT7, there's been a few sticking points - this race, as it seems for many, is one of the biggest.

@@penapvp2230 There is only a pp limmit, so set the car to the max pp limmit and you are in.

I ran out of fuel few 100 meters before the finish line and i managed to block the car behind me and barely finished first 😅

Actually, the Gr. 1 cars are nerfed lately, including the "normal", non-Gr.1 versions of the VGTs (LM55, Hyundai N2025 and McLaren) that now fit under the 950 pp limit. They are incredibly fast and still fuel efficient, especially the "normal" LM55

Try the final endurance mission on lago maggiore, hardest race by far for me. I used the porche gr3 for that one

I agree, that final endurance mission is one very very tough race took me 6 attempts and Multiple different strategy's to win it

It was easy when I watched youtube video and used Renault because it is efficient on fuel, before I was struggling too You can use fuel map 1 easy and pit only once half the race

Yes definitely lago maggiore’s endurance race in ‘The human comedy’ for me too….still haven’t made better than 3rd yet, still trying with some different cars. Every lap has to be almost perfect for 1hour solid.

Have PD adjusted the energy? The bar doesn’t seem to drain as much like in time trial. Is it because of the race in particular?

The Peugeot VGT for Suzuki was what what won it for me in the end. Hardest race IMO… Neo Classic at Willow Springs

Strategy I use on 10 lap races is pit lap 5 going into 6 then put fuel on 1

That annoys me the most in those races in gt7. The last 2 laps of the race the car in second place is incredibly fast and before that I make a difference of a few seconds, I make no mistakes anywhere, but he takes off even 1 second in a lap. That's not realistic and they have to fix it.

I used the LM55 with a medium turbo and a one stop strategy. Easy peasy.

What difficulty level for the AI?

You need to do consistent 1:32’s at the slowest to win this race. It is doable on stock power IF you get lucky and force Gallo into a different pit strat or simply be good at the game. For an easier time you can try the LM55 or a tomahawk since they have infinite grip but also a high top end so you are always gaining time on the top cars but also a TS050 on minimum downforce and on softs can and will win this race if you manage your battery good enough by elongating your braking zones slightly and by lifting and coasting into most corners.

I did that one with the fucking fwd lmp1. Had to whip out every dirty trick possible because the tire degradation was too absurd

Bro that's something that pisses me off as you get past them and then somehow they come around you even if you got them by half a track dude I've come so close to throwing my controller through my $2,000 TV The other thing is I don't have a steering wheel so you can do it but it's very hard it's not as smooth

If you shortshift a bit more you will basically not lose times but you will consume less fuel for sure

i think if you are about 2-3 sec behind, the AI gets far better on driving. i don't know why they put this mechanics, but it is just like that.

The hardest race would be the maggoire one hour in the human comedy, gr3 with BoP, even with me getting 1:55-1:56 comsistent and i still got 2nd to rubilar

Word of advice and I forget if you can do it for this race or not, but whenever you can use the 787B it’s the biggest cheater car in the game. Put on hard tires and even with power level 1 you’ll never have to pit for fuel. Amazing on fuel and super quick car.

I attempted this race shortly after a patch which dramatically increased tyre wear. So it was impossible to do the race on anything but Hard's. That was tough to win even in the 787B. Now, with more moderate tyre wear it should be much easier.

Yes bro yes I cannot beat it dude and it's pissing me off I bought in so many different cars gotten a tomahawk I got I forget the name of it but it's an open wheel old F1 car put nitrous in it upgraded the turbo and they're pulling away from you like I'm sitting still I've tried the Bugatti I forget what it's called the blue car and that thing's like 1600 horsepower not even close Can't even I can catch up but I can't beat the first and second place guys by the time I make it up there they're already halfway around the track it's crazy and on top of that I don't know how to tune for shit I just play like I played back in Gran Turismo 2 3 and 4 but the most horsepower and the best part and brute my way through it ain't working on this race because then you get penalty if you go off track or hit a wall
