Rep. Lee Wong said he needed to get it off his chest, by literally baring his chest. After multiple incidents of racism, the U.S. Army veteran stood up and revealed his military scars during a Board of Trustees meeting in West Chester, Ohio.

Its a shame he faces what he faces. He is the type of veteran that makes me proud to be one also. Its also a shame that it also goes on somewhat in the Veteran community. We all served the same nation and constitution.

Mr. Wong has spoken the truth 1. “I have a dream that our little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” 2. “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed - we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” Quote By - "Martin Luther King jr."

In my opinion Mr. Wong looks very American. We live in a multi culture country that has the potential for greatness. we need to ditch all this talk about racism and treat ALL Americans with dignity. My neighbors decent from all over the world, Indian next door, AA on the other side, Chinese family across the street and many more. We are all Americans and get along great. Our little street is absolutely AWSOME. I wish the rest of the country could start treating people who don't look like them with respect and dignity. Our problem would be solved. the only problem would be ratings for NBC, CNN, ABC and the rest of the media. We have let FAKE NEWS lead us into a really bad place.

That bothers me. I live in a place that is t exactly known for being tolerant or diverse. But I ha e never seen anyone ever say anything against Asians. There is a lot of animosity towards China as a country. But never the people here. It’s unfortunate that these folks go through that.

So now you know what black people have gone through, and you may want to start with your own people not to discriminate against other minorities especially as a consumer in your store. America has always been based on English black white and Native indigenous

@@GobindaDotel your kinda stupid too aren't you...what do scars or military service have to do with anything when these people are seeking a position in power ?? Always question authority and someone seeking power you may very well be the one that suffers by putting the wrong person in power the question these people need to be asked is if they believe in God are humble and uncorruptable are willing to stand by the bill of rights and the constitution the indians found out for themselves what happens when you make deals with the government that is not trustworthy or uncorrupt i bet many of those back then had a few military scars to show off too ...i have many scars to show off from working my butt off to pay for his military service besides the fact that he probably got them over in a country where the United States has no business being to begin with or are you one of the really ignorant ones that think the government has its own money....

@@georgeseckman8648 you are the one going off topic here. He has been a receiving comments about his appearance for not looking american and not the "uncorruptabilty" you are suggesting. So your assumption was wrong to begin with. Those weren't the issues about his eligibilty given to him to begin with. It is a board membership of a township, not keys to a nuclear submarine. So once again, get over yourself.
