is this phukets BEST BEACH? Freedom Beach worth the visit?

is this phukets best beach? We decided to visit one of Phukets best beach on the island in Thailand. We spent the day down at Freedom Beach. This is situated between Karon and Patong beaches. This beach is a bit tricky to get too. One way you can hike 40 mintues through the jungle and they do offer pick up truck as the hills are a killer! We had the most adventurous day. We had to walk 2.5 miles after visiting Freedom to get a taxi back due to a festival in Patong. This was a great day and we'd highly recommend visiting freedom beach.

Aww bless you, shame you both felt unwell but I hope it cleared up quickly. The phuket videos have been really interesting as its a trip I was considering. The beaches look beautiful and the phi phi trip you did looked really nice, but I personally think this area of Thailand might be a bit too busy and hectic for me so I'm looking forward to seeing the other parts of your trip to see how it compares. 😊Xx

Wouldn’t wish the Phuket poonami on anyone 🤣😳 yes Phuket was very full on and we did love visiting the Phi Phi islands but the next part of our trip to elephant hills was the bucket list part of the trip and hands down the best part of the whole holiday. We would love to return and visit Chiang Mai and Koh Samui where it seems more laid back and traditional!

It honestly was the worst kinda dreading going to Bali because of Bali belly 😳🤣 Y’know yolo had to get to that beach although I probably should have rested in the comfort of our room where there was a toilet 🤣 It may have not gone to plan but was one of the most memorable days which we will never forget. Nil food by mouth and a crazy amount of walking in the heat was not a great idea though 🤣🤣

Oh god, Phuket belly sounds baddd! Hopefully you didn’t feel too meh for very long Ellie! The beach looked great, minus the party goers 🤣 that would have annoyed us, especially after trekking down you’d just wanna chill out 😅 Can’t believe how crazy that traffic was, always someone trying to rip you off too isn’t there haha! Oh bless you Ellie, it’s awful being unwell anytime but when you are away it’s horrible, I had a dickie tummy in Greece last year……. Both ends…..now there’s a conundrum 😂😂😂😂😂 How annoying those loud mouths were at the beach 😮 Shame about the taxis taking the p**s …..puts you off a bit 😢 These days are sent to test us….its getting to the other side and then you can look back and laugh 😂 ❤❤❤

Wouldn’t wish the Phuket Poonami on anyone 🤣 but definitely didn’t let it ruin the last bit of time we had in Phuket was going to make it to that beach even if it killed me lol 😆 jokes aside it’s no fun but the BRAT diet definitely helped! Both ends is the worst the only other place we have been to where we have been like that was Egypt it was awful! Just wanted a nice little nap on the beach y’know 😆 to be fair to the taxi driver the traffic was at a complete standstill because of the festival we should have planned that out a little better but days like that really do stick in your memories and actually turnt out be quite the adventure not knowing how the heck we were going to get back to the hotel. Yes so much to test us on our travels but it’s the fun of it I guess 🤣🤣

Is it better booking boat trips when you are there or pre book before we arrive we’re staying at Karon beach mandarava resort

We booked the Phi Phi boat trip & Similan islands boat trip when we were there, I think it’s best to book once you’re there because that way you can look at the weather beforehand. There were lots of places to book trips near to the mandarava resort but we ended up booking our boat trip with our rep because it was overwhelming on whom to book with. We stayed at the Mandarava and it was a stunning resort so enjoy 🤩
