Since both come from theories that are derived from scientist it’s logical to correlate the beliefs to each other. The idea Heaven and hell come from the same book just like evolution and big bang theory come from “science”. Very logical to put Bing bang theory together with the evolution theory.

I’m not the most intelligent person but I also consider myself fairly smart, I think it’s way more logical to believe in an intelligent creator or god whatever title you want to give, than the theories of man. I don’t believe because it’s more logical I believe because I have a personal relationship with god as does every true saved Christian. God existence making sense to someone is only the beginning of faith and when you have a true connection with god ideas like evolution or the bing bang do not challenge my faith. Not sure if this is a Poe or not... 1) Big Bang =/= Evolution. 2) The Big Bang WASN'T an explosion, it was an expansion of energy more akin to inflating a balloon. 3) the watchmaker argument is lazy and silly. 4) Evolution occurs at the species level, not at the individual level 5) evolution requires breeding, last I checked piles of wood and welded sheet metal can't do the horizontal hockey pokey. and finally... 6) creation ex-nihhilo (i.e. "Creation from Nothing") is not something that those who follow facts believe in. That remains firmly in the realm of fairy tales and fables. When "god said let there be light" could just as easily read "god said abracadabra" and it would be functionally identical. Which is to say ramblings from bronze age minds who didn't even know what air is, that the sun is at the center of our solar system, and that the moon spins around the earth, the earth around the sun, the solar system around the milkyway, and the milkyway is but one of billions of galaxies in the visible universe that is far larger than a human being can completely comprehend. No faith is required to believe facts, just reading, and the occasional experiment where you'd like to verify the truth.

Hi there! I am an evolutionary biologist and i would like to mention a few reasons to show why this is not the case. To start, I’d like to just point out that being a scientist and being an atheist are not mutually exclusive! I have plenty of colleagues who are theists, including christianity, islam, and judaism, however I consider myself to be an agnostic atheist. Science does not seek to “prove” anything, including evolution, the big bang, or any other scientific evidence that may be contrary to a typical theist belief, we simply fail to prove ourselves wrong after conducting as many tests as possible to a disprove hypothesis, which would reasonably conclude that it is a strong piece of evidence from which we can draw these conclusions. As previously mentioned some of these conclusions are contrary to theist beliefs, but the reason many scientists are atheistic is because we operate on a higher standard of evidence. Theories in science are not just some random guess, but the highest level of credibility evidence can receive. Some other theories include gravity, cellular biology, or spherical earth (yup! the earth being round is a theory!). I can test evolutionary science in a lab, observe it happening in the field, and find evidence of it through fossil and strata records. However, when it comes to god, I can do none of these things. I have a myriad of questions that I would need answered before I could rely on something I have absolutely no evidence in. I encourage you and all others to do the same; challenge your beliefs, and search for real, testable and observable evidence for the things you believe! :)

Js... Anyway, as a mathamatican, I was mostly referring to physics as you can make it say almost anything you like. Mathematically speaking, of course. The universe having a beginning and being fine tuned points to a Creator, so what do the astrophysicist do? First, using some fancy math, they said that 0 has a positive energy balance so that's how something came from nothing and this somehow disproves God. What's being said now is that the universe was not the beginning, and that there's a multiverse that always existed. Of course this can never be observed, but guess how they are trying to prove it? Fancy math!

Science cannot explain truth, which is immaterial and can't possibly be measured by scientific testing. It cannot account for many things we intuitively know to be real. Oh, and Darwin's finches were still finches...adaptation doesn't equal macro evolution.

Things like evolution are concrete and supported by non-creationist groups within the scientific community. Also I highly doubt you are a mathematician because most mathematicians have already proved that evolution is viable and I feel you lack the understanding of probability.
