Poor , he’s so intent on leaving & you two continue discussing mugs 🤣! You need to start carrying a cooler of snacks & drinks for him so he can take breaks😉. I do that al the time because even if I’m shopping, I get hangry which makes me frustrated & I miss out on seeing things! You snagged some beautiful tins & in really nice condition too! The bookend is early 20th century. Nicely done with a sphinx flanked by plants symbolic of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt, the two lands that composed ancient Egypt. Papyrus for Lower Egypt and the lotus for Upper Egypt.

If you have a few plants in a low profile vintage planter try adding a small fish tank item or a couple of Wade whimsies at the plant base...sort of decorative and a bit of an "assemblage". I grew up with them in just about every house I visited...it was a little point of interest amongst the greenery. People do Fairy and Gnome gardens/vignettes, a few pieces for display under a cloche or display them in a collection; if it's made it this far and it's pretty there is always someone/somehow to appreciate it and show it off😊

That is exactly where I display my Wade Whimsies- at the bases of my plants- I put rocks & moss & make a little display. I will also put broken chandelier crystals amongst the rocks for a little bit of visual fun:) Great minds think alike:)

Jeffrey I say get a fish tank, put the pieces in it, with the fish tank gravel or stones, NO water, but then add your flamingo pieces that fit nicely . Make it like an (sp) can think what you call it. But like a flamingo exhibit, like something you'd see at a zoo. Would look great. Liked the video, I thought that ghosts was great. Birthday cake candle would fit well, maybe orange color. 🍊 best wishes. Hugs.

Jeffrey, that lavender bird looks like Alexandrite glass. It changes color from lavender to blue. George was just showing us some on his last video "Crazy Cool Vintage" minute marker 31:44. Very popular.

Barb, I hope that you will show us how you decorate for the upcoming holidays. I am actually making the effort to decorate for Halloween, and it is fun…..Amy of Yosoboho collects brown drip, but I am not sure of the maker except that it isn’t McCoy. I like the handle of the Hull. Glad you got it.

I agree. I would love to see your Halloween decorations and how you put them in your house!!! Please do a video and maybe Jeffrey can tack on his house too. I would also love to see Jeffrey's flamingo collection. Warning: if you have any 3D stuff in the yard bring it in at night. We have had things stolen or destroyed along with many others across the country. Just bring inside for safety at night to be safe.

Please feel free to email anytime you need something painted or made. I’d be happy to help. I would buy that monkey as is for that price. That glass sail boat is beautiful. That JS items are a bit pricey. That goblet is beautiful with those blue swirls. I love that bird trivet. Blast I almost got that brown drip mug for you.
