Thanks for all the advice, I really look forward to travelling to NZ. At 7:09 there is a picture of beautiful mossy trees. Can you tell me where that was taken or whereabouts in New Zealand you can walk through a forest like that?

Glad you enjoy the details. You will get those mosses on trees between Lake Paringa and the Haast Pass. There are a few walks into the forest. Enjoy!

Can you please tell me which part of the year is more suitable for this road trip? I mean which time gives more stunning view?

Really any time of the year is good for this part of the NZ. Personally I prefer March to May as this has often the most stable weather conditions.
