This video made me appreciate my 4.5 hour flight from Mexico City to O’ Hare on Aeromexico economy that much more: hot (albeit light) meals both ways, two drink services, and an IFE that worked beautifully.

Wow, meal service is a massive plus for that flight. To be fair, Aeromexico uses the 737 MAX 8 and 737-800 for that route, newer aircraft. I’ve filmed it arriving at O’hare while planespotting multiple times!

Aeromexico is an exceptional airline, when I flew on them (JFK - MEX - UIO) before, the meals were amazing and the IFE worked smoothly and had a good selection

You'll be glad to know that, as of 2024/06/26, AC has swapped the A319 with the Max 8 on this route. It goes without saying that the latter is INFINITELY superior to the former (yes, even with Boeing's current state).

Good to know thanks. Thinking of taking this route next summer for our Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. Air Canada is the cheapest option at this point. I noticed the aircraft is the B737 MAX8.

Hi ice711 I’m commenting again to say that I went to the comox air show this spring and I think you would have LOVED it. there was a globe master and a few other giant airplanes there on static display and… A us airforce plane I believe it was a 737 or something similar. Also it happens every 2 years so in 2027 you better be there to cover it you should do it you will have fun trust me😉. Oh! I almost forgot the snowbirds where there as well and I honestly think that they are better than the blue angles that just my honest opinion btw Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 🍻
