Did you actually listen to what is being said? There's nothing wrong with the title. Maybe there are a lot of images of Amsterdam but by far the largest part of the narrative certainly is not about Amsterdam but about the Netherlands.

I'm 58, Dutch and not sure what to think of this video. I didn't see anything plain Dutch and in your "gigantic" section, for example, there was only foreign stuff. Maybe you should visit the country yourself and film in areas where people actually live. I will consider this video to be a foreign-made over-the-top commercial.

As always the imagery is about Amsterdam and if there is any footage of the rest of the Netherlands it is not mentioned. And if you want to see the flower/bulbfields you got to travel to the coastal region of South Holland province in the April to June period. No flowers in the rest of the year!! There is a lot to see in the Netherlands but don't just stay in Amsterdam. I love that city but there is LOTS of nice things to enjoy in any other city or in the country landscape. Amsterdam is overloaded with tourists and by that also the shops are targeted to tourists and does not reflect the actual good stuff in the Netherlands. The cheese shops are franchised , the stroopwafels are adapted to American taste, the drugs shops are there for the tourists.

I live in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Society of Humanitarianism. This was the foundation of the Dutch "Care-State". It was an Utopian project to bring the beggars of the cities to self-sufficient citizens. Close to the Society is Giethoorn. Giethoorn is called the Venice of the North, and is a very romantic town. The old town is completely car free. Then we also have Bourtange, which is a village and a fort. And many more interesting sites.

William of Orange aka William the Silent led the revolt against spain and was stadtholder, aka steward to the king of Spain. With the king declared to no longer being on the throne of the Netherlands, the postion of steward became one the two leading offices in the country. Willem III was appointed stadtholder about a century later when the French attacked together with the English and parts of Germany. To prevent this in the future, the Dutch Republic with the stadtholder Willem III appointed as commander of the army and navy invaded England and took the throne, making him king William III of England, Scotland and Ireland, but he remained stadtholder of the Dutch Republic.

Also your story about the anthem is not entirely true. The anthem is a tribute to our founding father, William of Orange-Nassau (hence the anthems name, Wilhelmus) who liberated us from the Spanish tyrant King Philip II

Unfortunately, I have to temper your enthusiasm a little. The Netherlands has very big problems. Every year, more than 400,000 immigrants come to the Netherlands. There are more than 1,000,000 houses short. The farmers are chased off their land by the government and the fishermen have to scrap their boats. This country is totally destroyed.
