I believe later weekend nights they try to limit young kids from coming in. I called before my first time going to see if I could bring my son. First they said no, because they wanted a more relaxing environment for patrons, I mentioned he was 15 and then they said no problem. But overall, one of my favorite tiki bars and is tied with Hala Kahiki for my favorite locals spots.

We also love Hala Kahiki! But we love that Kahala Koa has a bit more substantial food. Make the alcohol intake a little more manageable ;) And yea we also found out that after 8pm, it’s 21 and up only for those that would prefer that!
