I used to enjoy chim a lot at my 45-50% era. Now I mainly drive STG if I want that type of play style. I think that it definitely has a lot to do with your skill level. For the majority of players the chim would still be better

So, the best way to use the WZ-114 is to be hulldown when fighting, because your armor when hulldown is so powerful that even a Ho-Ri with premium ammo will have a hard time penetrating you, or you get right up in their face and facehug against enemy heavy tanks (this works with tier 10s too). The WZ-114 has a lot of armor, a lot of hitpoints, and a great gun. You can't sidescrape in it, though, as both it's side armor is abysmal and it's cutouts on its lower plate can be penned so you don't have much leeway.

I think that chimera is a really strong vehicle. Yet a little bit overhyped. I mean there are real monsters at t8 like bourrasque, defender mk1, t77, to name just a few. And I don’t think that there’s something special about chimera, that would make it the greatest of them all.

The Chimera used to be a lot better, I just dont enjoy driving it so much now as with a lot of tanks the armor just isnt up for the current match maker. I can not always carry the game and so have to choose tanks that allow me to.
