Definitely the most underrated trail around. It's also a newer trail which might be why it's not better know but one of my absolute favorites. Rode it just a few days ago as well.

Any recommendations for a beginner mountain biker (and 62 year old) around South Lake Tahoe? I am looking for trails similar to the Powerline to Cold Creek trail (from Ski Run). Comfortable with 10-15 miles and 1.000 to 1500 Vfeet. Thank you

The hartoonian trails would match except less elevation change or there are some trails behind the north upper truckee neighborhood, and possibly incense cedar (slightly harder) but is a nice flowy trail. Hopefully that helps!

It is for both bikes and hikers. To be honest I rarely see people hiking this but yes you have be careful on the blind corners. Eyes are always looking ahead.

I encounter hikers here often. Like any other multi-use trail you just gotta keep your eyes down trail and check your speed when you don't have a good sight line of what's up ahead.
