Good choice with the arrows, and the lighted nocks are a great plus. I’m sure you’ll do fine with the deer hunting. Thanks for the video, be well my friends.

I dropped carbon express and went with Easton. Carbon express is still making arrows with the same technology while Easton has innovated and moved on to a new manufacturing process. On top of that my local archery shop dropped them from their inventory. Another added bonus is I can get a dozen match grade arrow shafts at $130. A dozen maxima reds by carbon express for $180 that are made in Korea and they perform the same, I will take my Easton arrows made in America for $130 please. Their is also a bonus with Easton though. There is no seam in arrow shaft so it doesn't matter you fletch the vane on the shaft. All of my archery equipment is made in the united states even my arrows. Mathews bow lift 29.5, Spott Hogg tommy Hogg 5 pin sight, QAD HDX Ultra Rest, Tight Spott Quiver and Mathews 12 inch bridge lock stabilizer with 5 oz of weight total on it. You couldn't convince me to go back to Carbon Express.

@@ReviewThisThing I just got back into archery after 6 year hiatus this year. I was shooting carbon express before. Now that I am back I went with Easton. Give them a try. Easton Match Grade 6.5 they are identical to Carbon Express Maxima red. I am building my arrow the same set up as that just different arrow. With the standard nock my arrow comes out to 399 grains pretty much a 400 grain arrow and with lighted Nockturnal nocks weight comes out to 409 grains.

@@evi2083 What is the new technology Easton has that you were going for?

Crazy the difference on set ups, weight, draw length. I’m shooting a 78lb Kuma at 30” draw with 31” arrows at 450 grain and am getting around 102ft lbs of energy. Blew through my 250+lb whitetail at 69 yards this year. Haven’t gotten to test the set up on elk yet but I’m sure the result will be identical. Might have a chance on a moose next year as well.

Up close and personal with a moose sounds intense!!!

Carbon express fixed their spine chart? Cuz they have been backwards from every other arrow company. I will stick with victory... better arrows

How long have you been using Victory? I’ve heard good things about them.

Theres that dirty word BUILD again 🙄🙄 Carbon express built the arrows not you 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I suppose you aren’t incorrect, depending on your definition. I think about it like this - when you go on a car website, and you click the button to “Build Your Car.” I don’t actually order the pieces and put them together in my driveway (which we actually did with the arrows), but I get to design it the way I want (not that I could ever afford to actually do that 🤣). Same principle, though. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

When you take a set of components and assemble them into a single unit, that's a build.
