The grip is removable and it's compatible with AR-style grips. Luke buddy, you usually hit all the points but if we're gonna complain about the grip, you gotta mention that.

Dart zone: should this be a drum or a mag fed blaster? *YES* Nerf: how much time and money should we put towards making the stryfe x mag incompatible with anything else? *YES*
@AMRIV2 ай бұрын
Another thing I like about drums is if you have somewhere at home to safely shoot it, you can keep the blaster loaded and just take a few shots when you feel like without having to worry about the mag springs.
@tsmcgu2 ай бұрын
Another important thing about the drum - it's rear-loadable. Each slot has a small retention clip in it that lets you slide and "click" a dart into place from behind without having to flip the blaster around and "stare down the barrel" to reload. Played in a pretty fast attrition game and was able to top off multiple shots while jogging back to spawn point without ever having to deal with mags. It was only toward the end (when I forgot to keep topping off) that I ran out and had to switch to my secondary. I am 24/7-drum baby!

The good news about this release is target scrambling to get rid of the old one. I just got a brand new Stryker 1 for 1/3rd of the retail price with free shipping on eBay. I never knew this about the Nexus or the Stryker 1 but theres 2 o rings attached to the stock of each

I love my max stryker 2.0. I put a good amount of time range testing it and I added some custom mods to it. My biggest concern with the MS2 is the small barrel flex and the lack of internal metal parts. The flex is manageable, but I would love some metal supports, or a metal tac rail extension to keep it from cracking. I would also love to see a metal catch, plunger, and skinny pusher, as the catch has slipped a couple times when priming the MS2, and who doesn't love extra durability? Although it is a cheap beginner blaster, it's ergonomics, accessibility, visual design, and neat gimmick are worth keeping the blaster around. Side note: get a cullet for this blaster! The air seal isn't the best when connecting the pcar in stock form. Still works fine, but for those who care will absolutely care.

@@CasuaICole how are you getting barrel flex with a collet? My setup has been rock solid
@CasuaICole2 ай бұрын
@@N1sm0NIC The front of the blaster body droops down a little bit when I pull back the prime. It is kinda hard to notice at first, and you might need to shove your face up to the side of the blaster to see it, but it is visible through the top rail and even more visible with longer barrels. Quick note: I am also using a stock spring.

my caliburn was taken out of commission for my last war so i had to use one of these, sick blaster in my opinion, flimsy but to be expected for a budget performance blaster that isn’t custom made. genuinely enjoyable experience, hate the drum mag solely off the reason that it requires a mag well conversion for a regular magazine.

If the prime can not be too stiff, definitely a spring upgrade for 300+ FPS would save me time upgrading 2nd Longshot PRO to supersport level.
@N1sm0NIC2 ай бұрын
Prime starts getting stiff once you use a 20+mm spacer. I think I'm averaging 210ish with a 30mm 13mm ID barrel and a 10mm spacer. And this is on heavies. Issue with longer barrels is it basically becomes the size of a seagull/Swift if you remember that one
@headhunterscustoms2 ай бұрын
Hope so! It's my first entry into serious nerf! I was curious though if you could explain swapping a metal barrel on it. I understand the Collet part, but do you remove the previous metal barrel? Or does a new one slip into it? What size should I go with/whats compatible? And thanks for answering the mag question!

I actually had a really interesting idea… what if you made a part that allows you to turn your Venom Pro into a priming grip for the Stryker 2.0? (Like a replacement for the Venom’s picatinny rail) cause having a full auto masterkey is the only thing that would make this blaster better

I'm curious about build quality. I noticed that my Stryker 1.0 would creak and flex a lot in the hands, probably due to using thin plastic in the shell. Compare that to something like the Worker Harrier which feels solid as a rock to hold. Does the Stryker 2.0 have the same issue? I can't imagine it doesn't, given the low price point. For all its merits, the Harrier is pretty danged expensive.
@N1sm0NIC2 ай бұрын
It will still creak, but having had a Stryker1 and 2, the 2 is definitely a nicer formula of plastic
@CasuaICole2 ай бұрын
@Beegrene It's solid enough. Most of the removable parts have some wiggle. The foregrip has small amounts of sway, stock and mag well has a little bit of play, and the barrel has a little bit of flex when priming. The stock got pushed back a few times during my 300 rounds tested through it, but it is not common enough to be worth spiking it into a dumpster. The shell itself is quite solid, better than a lot of elite 2.0 blasters, but in no way shape or form close to the ejection molded perfection of a Worker Seagull. It is really tough to beat Worker's phenomenal build quality. The Stryker 2.0's Build quality is very good for a budget pro blaster and isn't really an inconvenience for me. The prime is nice, the mag releases are perfect in every way, ergonomics are solid, and it is absurdly accurate, despite having a loose air seal when attaching the pcar on the stock cullet. It is competent, competitive, and insanely fun. A lot of the subjective stuff like the grips and cullet can be swapped out for better ones. If you have the cash and need an insanely competitive, absurdly high quality Nerf blaster, go with the Harrier/Seagull. You'll pretty much never need another springer ever again if you go with one of these (Outside of buying a sabre for metal and humidity reasons). If you are a little more casual/impartial on the hobby, but still value precision accuracy and high fps for less, go with the Max Stryker 2.0. You won't be disappointed with the package you can get for just 50 bucks.

What happened to the tachi mag?
@outofdarts2 ай бұрын
Hi! While we were proud of the tachis, they were our first injection-molded product, and we learned a lot from selling them. First, they were time- and cost- intensive to produce because they had to be glued in-house. As a result, we sold a lot of B-grades with imperfect gluing and poor seams. Second, they were difficult to store -- both in the warehouse and on your person. Third, while Tritan was pretty durable, it wasn't durable enough for our standards. The Kodas solved all of these problems, being a more durable, straight mag, that is molded in one piece. It's an all-around better product.
@SodapopperAnimations2 ай бұрын
@@outofdarts thank you, and also kodas have a smaller capacity them the tachis and they don't look as cool and now im a bit sad that I never got a tochi mag, but I understand the decision to stop selling them.
