Brilliant! The man waited. Then isolated the pitcher w/ no one around and got in a good collision unabated. The perfect Bunt near enough the baseline to deliver the hit. This wasn't Baseball. This was Premedited Assault. But to draw the Pitcher nigh? Who would've thought? Wow! Alberto Elias.

@CMac15

Wasn’t that good. It was an out. Edit: man the number of you getting big mad for suggesting a bunt that results in neither a hit nor an advanced runner may not qualify as being particularly good is wild! 😂 A) For those arguing he was safe, he was ruled out. This is fact. He may have ended up on his azz but the pitcher won this exchange by taking the shot and getting the out. B) For those stressing “but that placement tho!” Give me a break with this. I’m rather certain none of y’all sit around watching replays of expertly placed but unsuccessful bunts. What you like about this bunt is the violence. Period.

Except he held onto the ball, tagged him out and popped back up like nothing happened. Pitcher was even more impressive.

Other interesting tidbits, the pitcher didn't drop the ball even when hit HARD, but also runs over to the beating in progress because hitting a guy with a fast ball wasn't enough. Bunting is also a commitment, worthy of praise. It takes more guts to bunt that to swing the bat as hard as possible

@@Shredward-dl2gp another fun fact is in the full video. The pitcher immediately gets round 2 from Lenny's teammates.

Love the pitcher getting up to show the ball like "He's out."

The batter IS out for running into a fielder that is attempting to make a play on the ball. The fielder is ALWAYS entitled to attempt to make a play on the ball.

And then as soon as the ump acks him, he tosses the ball and runs to get in on the fight.
