Sure, nobody expects it to be as good as the 1.4 GM lens. But how does it compare to the actual competition? The Sony 1.8 85mm costs 120euros less where I live, then there's the Samyang 85mm 1.4, the Meike 85mm 1.4 all in a similar price range.

I think you will be pleasantly surprise by this lens. I would rate it higher than the Samyang and Meike.
