Bought my Ford Freestyle Diesel in May 2019, Recently clocked 1 Lakh km the sheer driving pleasure we get especially in twisty roads is unmatched. The engine is a gem it can easily munch miles, on the highway I can easily pass cars even when I'm cruising at triple digit speeds. The icing on the cake is no matter how hard you drive, It'll not pinch your pocket on fuel bills. We have a XUV700 at home too, but whenever I want to go for a drive I'll always choose Freestyle

I love sharing my experience with my Freestyle too. It is a wonderfully engineered car, and its stability on highways is rock solid. The steering feedback feels well-connected to the driver. The 1.2L Dragon engine is smooth and well-refined. The best part is that even when fully loaded on highways with passengers and luggage, it easily cruises at 120 km/h. I’m happy to own this amazing car, and the joy of driving it lasts forever. The only drawback is that the boot space is not sufficient for our needs. Thank you for this Video.

Hi Asir Anna! I own the 2020 Figo Titanium BLU 1.5 TDCI, it's now running over 73K and never felt like it's an old car or thinking of changing to a new one. Take the performance, handling, mileage, and looks, it is still a wonderful Machine. Other cars won't give the Driver's car feel like this one. we can talk and it will do as we say. I can still drive around 2.5 RPM and get good mileage 24-28KMPL and comfort, or I can do any close overtakes without a hassle, drive faster and still get a mileage over 20KMPL. I would say when the turbo kicks in even the high CC petrol engines can't stand next to it. Change the gear and disappear kind of drive.

Well said in the review. It is absolute pleasure to drive ford Figo. I was driving first Gen ford Figo diesel in 2012-13. Almost every weekend I used to drive 270 kms x 2. I could enjoy the driving control it gives. I could cover the distance in 3 hours with a 15 minutes break. The Beauty and The Beast The pricing was below 6 lakhs, with a good mileage. I remember with just Rs 1000 diesel we could cover both to and fro.

Story on my Manifestation: When I was in high school and used to walk to school. On the way I saw a car parked in a house. It was love at the first site. In college, my friends were speaking about how amazing Mahendra Xylo and other cars were in time. But I still couldn't take my mind off the car parked on my way to school. At the age of 30, I wanted to buy our family's first car ever and had put on a lot of effort in getting to know about each car available in the market. As you mentioned in this video, there is no proper source for our middleclass family or generation to understand about these iconic cars in the past. Two years ago, I was thinking that the car that was parked on my way to school might be some old, low performance car and doesn't suit current times. Thanks to you guys, In the last two years you guys have taught me a lot. I got to understand, how awesome my first love car is and I am lucky enough to find a decent used Diesel Ford Ecosport for sale. Now I feel proud in saying that I own a Diesel Ford Ecosport.

I had a lot of questions which he was able to answer it, which made me go for it and it was the best decision i made. I am loving every day with the car. The Performance, the handling, the feel of driving it is just impeccable. It is indeed a Torque Monster, to be honest. The Efficiency is also crazy and the way it pulls in highways at highspeed is excellent. I have no negatives as of now with the car, and the service/spares is also always available and affordable as well. Thank you for making me a Ford Fanboy!

I bought Ford freestyle Titanium Diesel after its immediate launch in August 2018. This is my first car so i was very conscious while buying. I studied a lot in market and did lot of test drives and finally i chose this car for few reasons like its diesel Engine an I completed around 80k Kms, still enjoying this car while driving. Engine power, steering feel, comfort, cornering is very good. Only negative thing I see is its suspension. I checked with my friends who owns ford aspire or Figo, they do have the similar issues. Other than this everything is good. Overall i could rate this car as 4.5 for 5. Its sad to see that ford left India. Hope they will come back in future.

Sir, Ford's 1.5L Diesel Engine is an absolute Gem in terms of Pickup, performance and Best in class Mileage. Nothing comes close to this in this segment. Same engine is used in Aspire as well. Fantastic. Crazy that Ford was unable to capitalize Indian Market with this kind of Heart. I own a 2017 Aspire Diesel. Had Maruti or Hyundai got this engine, they would have ruled 200% more than what they have already done. 1. I get Highway Mileage of 24-26 when I drive between 90kmph and 100 kmph consistently. when you cross 100 kmph - mileage goes down to 20-22. This is the craziest stuff. and No other Diesel for that money can provide you this. No, we are talking about EV cars for triple the price - giving 24+ mileage. Ford's Diesel was way ahead by that time. 2. The Pick up is simply superb - Actual horse pick up - there is no question of doubt 3. Sturdiness in driving and spot on suspension. 4. AC cooling is excellent 5. per year Service maintenance cost was way below Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Honda Cars (my experience from 2017 onwards) Cons: a. Ford did not provide feature rich Cabin and did not improvise the interior experience b. Ground clearance in Figo and Aspire was a letdown c. Gear handling cud have been smoother like its competitors. d. Advertising and Marketing strategy was poor compared to Maruti and Hyundai.

I mostly drive in GST Road and it’s a real pocket rocket. Initially little disappointed with 2nd gear low rev lag, but after i used to it, now it’s rocking like rocket. I love the steering and the low end traction a lot. Happy possessor of freestyle ❤

Hello MotoWagon, Loved this video and watched twice and that small Ford kid coming out of you ! can't ignore :) Me too a proud owner of Ford Figo Gen-I TDCi 1.4; 2012 model which clocked around 1.1k Kms and the pocket rocket % that it gives ~24-25kmpl. But i sold it due to harder clutch & hard hydraulic power steering reasons and also looking for some premiumness in a budget range. But, I cannot ignore the love to Ford due to the driving pleasure and I still want to drive a Ford vehicle which better premium and that made me to buy an used Ford Figo Gen-II TDCi 1.5 Titanium; 2019 model (driven at 30k kms) in Spinny during panic sale (when Ford leaving message in mid-2022 came) & i bought at 7-L. That's a worthy buy i believe. Now, clocked at 49k Kms & my daily driving limit is ~50k kms; half of it in city limits & remaining in highway drive. Being generally a modest driver; keeping at low revs in 1500-1800rpm, avg speed at 60kmph & occasional reach of speeds at 100kmph and one can't believe, i always had an efficiency of 27-28kmpl ; that i run b/w 30k to 49k kms. With high level driving dynamics, precise steering control, its top engineering under the bonnet. Driving on highway is like as smooth as sliding on butter. As you have phrased, "ahead of time", into market is a sensible term. No fancy features; but the essential things for a driver is the driving pleasure and that Ford makes it. Cheers to the whole team for this video !!!

I bought an used Ford Freestyle Diesel Titanium 2018 with 69k kms on ODO. And I drove around 16k kms in 1.5years. I was forced to sell it because of the huge maintenance and very low mileage due to city commute usage. I had to replace the clutch, brake pads and link rod and battery. The suspension was totalled, and AC was not blowing at it's fullest, and the next was anticipated to be the fuel injector and timing belt. The primary reason for choosing Ford was it being a driver's car and a diesel. It is a secondary car in our house, we also have a Tata Harrier Automatic TC 2022 model. So this was primarily used for the city commute. The sheer driving pleasure, agility and driving ergonomics, the immense torque are some of the things I still miss. I bought a new Suzuki Baleno Zeta during the fag end of 2024 in exchange for Ford Freestyle. Both are two extremes. Ford Freestyle is a driver's car, it puts a smile on your face when you put down the feet. Steering accuracy and re centering, the indefinite torque and drivability are some of the things I enjoyed the most. On the other hand, new, plush, silent and resilient but mileage king Baleno makes more sense for city commute. Even though the Baleno is not a driver's car, the engine is peppy for a petrol, does not put a hole to my pocket during service and mileage is also great. The steering is dead, not robustly built, struggles on small inclined roads and does not put a smile on your face no matter what. I am happy with my decision, but there is no day that goes without missing my Ford Freestyle. Whenever a freestyle passes by, I check the plates whether it was mine. ❤

I booked fiat urban cross first and the very next day there came an announcement that fiat is exiting Indian market. Heart broken, cancelled the booking and searched for a fun to drive car afterwards. Test driven many cars but freestyle tdci made me to love its engineering, handling and fun to drive nature. Happily driving it for 6 years now. Everytime when i drive it makes me smile.

I owned 2013 , figo... It's my 1st car and it's the best Hatchback engineering for india . I still drove almost 2.15 lakhs km covered and counting on.. Huge power 1.5 Turbo Diesel.. And solid weight 1.1 tons where nowadays we can't get. It's a great drivers car
