I’m in pursuit of the BEST iPad Case for iPad Pro… but is it a PERFECT case? In my opinion, the perfect case has significant protection for all 4 sides of your iPad. It should be comfortable to hold & lightweight. It should look sleek, & come in multiple colors. Most importantly it HAS to work well with Apple’s BEST iPad Accessories. The Magic Keyboard & Apple Pencil! Does that case even exist?

Saw someone commented on Pitaka’s instagram saying that the Magez Folio 2 is the same as the Benk’s version, after testing both side by side, I can confirm that it’s the same. But for the Banks, it’s only a fraction of the price. Was disappointed to know that this is an OEM product and Pitaka charge so much for it just to be in line with their branding.

I purchased both of these this afternoon based on your recommendation and research. I’ve never had an iPad case that I like. I’ve actually been using the Snugg, which is a cheap case that has to be replaced every eight months or so. I’ll let you all know how I like it in a few days.

@@natefromhome The combination of the plastic backer and the magnetic cover gives nice protection without adding bulk. My whole iPad looks so much better. The Snugg (which served me well) made my iPad look like an old sneaker. I’m very happy with this cover and I did absolutely no research other than watching your video. Thanks!

Hey! You would have to remove the magnetic folio when using it with the Magic Keyboard. The keyboard basically acts as it’s own folio when it’s attached, because it completely covers the screen when it’s closed. Thank you for asking!

Eh, I went ahead and purchased it. It’s not so great on an unstable surface like the lap. The magnetic portion of the fold also seems surprisingly weak. I think if I only used my tablet on a desk it would be fine, but that’s not how I use my iPad. Oh well.

I think it’s good for transport in a backpack (for some added protection) but I think your opinion is dead on. I had never tried it on my lap because I usually leave it connected to the Magic Keyboard.

Hi there! The inside of the folio isn’t super easy to clean, in my experience. I honestly wish the inside of it was the same material as the outside. It definitely picks up a lot of animal hair too if you have pets.

I’m a first time iPad owner Air m2 11”. I haven’t even set it up yet because I know as soon as I touch it, it will immediately catapult off the coffee table and smash into one million pieces. In all seriousness, refuse to use it until I have a case. Ironically, I got on Reddit and start asking for a case that offers the exact same criteria: 360 degrees full edge bumper protection, compatible with the new Magic Keyboard (mag, folding, and charging), and bonus if it has clasp and charges Apple Pencil. I got about a dozen responses saying - it doesn’t exist. I’m baffled. 3 criteria = zero solutions. I find this baffling, these aren’t brand new products. Minor updates aside, the newest member of the equation is the Magic Keyboard which came out over 4 years ago! 4 years!!!! And still, nobody has figured out to integrate these three products together in a way that makes sense? Sorry, but that white goofy origami Pikachu case is close but not there yet. I commend them for trying. It’s a step in the right direction but there should be hundreds of products that do that job better. Thanks for the video!

Hi! Yes still using it 👏🏼 I would say you DON’T have to buy the folio if you’re planning to keep your iPad within the Magic Keyboard. If you don’t own a Magic Keyboard I would recommend both for sure just for some added protection. Unfortunately you can’t just get the folio. I think if you’re just looking for a good folio without the case… the Apple Smart Folio would work well. I think ESR has some really good magnetic folio options too that are really affordable. haha, thank you for mentioning those! I 100% think you’ll absolutely get better protection from an otterbox case, but I’m not aware of a thicker case that will play nice with the iPad Magic Keyboard unfortunately. I guess you can’t have it all… (BUT I WANT IT ALL 😭)

@@natefromhome Hello, reporting back! Really fantastic case, the magnets are strong and you get so much flexibility in the display modes. Love having somewhere to store the pencil where it isn’t always on charge, and love that you can detach the folio to use just the protective case when needed! It’s a bit heavy but I feel as though we’ve all come to expect that from magnetic folios like this

Frankly, I like my old iPad 2 magic magnetic cover with 4 fold panels. Simple and sturdy when folded. Really dislike the newer 3-fold covers; not stable; angle is often wrong. Can't find anything as simply effective for my 8th or 9th generation. Why did everyone change from 4 to 3 folds?

What's YOUR favorite iPad Case?

I love clear tpu or solid black with a folio fold cover. For iPads with 1st gen Apple Pencil, I like the Pencil loop instead on the right side of the iPad (side with the volume buttons) and for iPads with 2nd gen Pencil I just want it to magnetize to its rightful place on the side with a flap with the cover to hold on. But I cannot find a tpu folio case that has these qualifications for the iPad Pro of either 11” or 12.9”. Hard cases only crack easily in our family for some odd reason, they are way too brittle and if I’m gonna get the Magic Keyboard and be taking it in and out of the case constantly, I want to be able to do so without worrying I’m gonna break the case.

Never used a screen protector in my life. And I only use a case for when I'm doing something particularly active like football or at a theme park. My phones always stay in pristine condition. I dropped my phone ONCE in 2002, never made that mistake again. Solution wasn't cover the phone. It was be more careful. I currently have an Iphone 14 pro that looks like new, not a single mark on it. I wipe it down with an antibacterial cloth every few days. I also have an Ipad pro M2 that I don't keep in a case or have any crap covering the screen. It's pristine. I look after my shit.
