In my opinion, 1/45 scale (based on the height) leads to more accurate looking vehicles and better for mocs whereas 1/35 (based on width) is best for playability or interiors.

This is exactly why I follow 1/40 scale, unless it’s something that can reasonably be smaller or bigger and look good, like a snowspeeder or a y wing, as well as the ability to do some fudging for big stuff like lambda shuttles.

I'd say it's more accurate to call it the live-action gunship rather than just an the Episode II gunship, because this is the only gunship design to appear in live-action (AOTC, ROTS, Mandalorian, and Ahsoka)

Out of all of the Gunships I’ve seen in Lego, I can say without question, this is the best one out there. I don’t say the lightly either, as a dedicated Lego Afol and Star Wars fan, I’ve seen countless Gunship designs over the years as its one of the most recreated Mocs out there. There are few really good designs out there but in terms of design, proportions, and in universe accuracy, all of the others fall just a little short of this masterpiece. The best thing about this model is that it’s publicly available to build and not just a one off design. BrickValt truly is the best place to get custom Lego Star Wars designs from.

You were right, this was closer to perfect, I really liked that the cannons of the engines were longer (more accurate) than the past moc models, but if possible I would add maybe an extra piece to make it just a bit longer

Not weird. MOCs are not limited by illegal techniques, price point, development time, stability, and (MOCs like this one) are specifically designed to look photorealistic rather than having the "lego feel". For a MOC of this quality, I do agree that the designer is just as good as the best LEGO designers, but they have different goals and restraints.

Wahnsinning gute Version ich hab vor einiger Zeit richboyjhaes version davon gebaut, die ebenso eine fast studless oberfläche (auf die ich nicht unbedingt wert lege) bietet, aber an einigen Stellen sehr fragil ist und nicht den "used look" wie thomas version hat Die Bubble Turrets gefallen mir hier auf jeden fall sehr gut, vielleicht übernehme ich die für mein Modell :D Bin gespannt wann bzw ob jemand dieses Modell in naher Zukunft toppen kann :3

Agreed. Even still, I can't complain about all the cool star wars mocs we've been getting since the Chang of ownership. I think my biggest concern is that they might be so dedicated to pumping out another model that they sacrifice some of the quality. I would love to see more Batman vehicles and especially custom modular buildings.
