A TikTok video has a man saying he was kicked off a Royal caribbean ship. I was currious as to why and it turns out I may have found the most annoying cruise passenger ever.

just came back from a cruise (Alaska). On the last full day, the Lido deck had a grand cake party with at least 15 different cakes to choose. Needless to say, the wait was about 20 minutes long. As I approached the front of the line, the man in front (did not speak English or French) wanted a complete breakdown of what was in each type of cake. OMG. What the daylights did he eat the last 6 days ?!?

In the words of Tony, "I paid my money...".! Glad he was kicked off. There is absolutely no excuse for smoking in areas where not permitted. For endangering lives, he should be banned for life from all cruise lines., but of course this will won't impact him since I doubt he'd choose to cruise again. Probably only did it to make money from social media sites.

I reported smoking occurring on the balcony next to our room on two separate cruises. On a third cruise we smelled pot. We reported all of those instances to Guest Services and their response was ridiculous. In one instance they said they couldnt do anything because the privacy light was activated on the offenders' door. Are you kidding me? And this was while we were sailing in Antarctica of all places in the world where the ship banned all paper cups etc on the open decks for fear of anything polluting the waters. And can you imagine if we had had a fire in the most remotest of places in the world? The number one rule on cruise ships is no smoking in staterooms and balconies. The cruise lines need to start taking this more seriously like heavy fines and getting escorted off the ship at the next port and banned for life.

If there are rules, there is usually a reason! If someone don't agree with a rule, it's their responsibility to learn why that rule is there and if they decide to not respect the rule, it's their responsibility to accept the consequences.

So he's a completely self-entitled, narcissistic alcoholic. Yeah, I will say it, he is not good people. Also I think smoking should be banned from cruise ships entirely, like it is on airplanes. There is no reason to allow people to smoke on a floating vessel that could catch fire. Removing smoking, would prevent the issue of people tossing cigarettes overboard and possibly causing fires. Smoking isn't a necessity.

As long as he is not theatening to others and is "jovial", I might find the situation entertaining and funny. Sort of a Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton style of humour whenre the guy is so drunk that he bumps into everything, breaks all the rules. (But would definitely support cruise crew isolating him after the show). We had a guy like that in the building some time ago. One night, we heard very loud singing in the stairwell. Bunch of us got out of our appartmentrs, went down, and carried him to his appartment because he was that drunk! he was never threatening, just jovial-drunk.

Don, you and I both know he is NOT a great guy to hang with. He's a trouble-maker. Probably got great laughs in school, but now he's an adult he has not adjusted. I went to high school with a guy like him. Always people around him in school.
