yes bro it's just impossible for opps to get pass in middle, while we can pass the ball through middle field very easily to our forwards, but the CDM has to be extremely good at positioning, covering, passing and defending.

I also have been changing my formation from 4231 narrow to 4222 for 2 months. This is better in attacking for me, but I get counter attack easier from the opponents. This is basically like 442, our CAM will more often face RB and LB than CDM, so good for you that put messi as CAM. in my oppinion Winger or striker that has CAM as secondary position is more suitable with this formation because training level will boost more the pace. I struggle using Pele 97 and zidane 97 😂

I started using 4-2-2-2 after watching Bojce a few weeks ago I think. Got me to FC3 from Leg 2. I also bought Cruyff and Socrates based on your lineup. Great formation!

Workrate matters alot too, i noticed work rate affects my build up, depending on formation .....so i try to get the right work-rate for my players.. example is (R9) goated but his work-rate is terrible for a lone striker. When i switch to med/high striker i see huge difference!!!!!
