I'm at home in Akwa Ibom State. I take my family round to destined places for relaxation at our spacre times. A land full of peace and safety. A land where calmness and enjoyment are in tandem with satisfaction in a semi-heaven on earth. Tourism sites abound. The people of the land are so lovely especially to the visitors. The land is saturated with natural resources. The green environment is spectacular in itself. The happiness in the faces of the people have no bounds. The food here is outstanding and meets the needs of all that step in the space. Everywhere in the State is renewed day by day with diverse development projects. I find it difficult traveling out, because of incompatibility with this land. I love Akwa Ibom State. The beauty of Akwa Ibom State exceeds unimaginable expectations. Indeed, it's the land of promise as the people here call it.

I left Nigeria for studies at a young age of 17, before then i spent most of my entire life in the chaotic city of Lagos and it gave me an impression that was all there was to Nigeria; smog, noise pollution and total absence of greenery. In a few months I will return and by the grace of God I will discover these parts of Nigeria I didn’t even believe existed. One thing for sure I will never live in Lagos ever again.

I have lived in Nigeria for most of my life but I recently moved to Canada about three years and I recently got my passport. This makes me want to go back when I am older and visit Lagos and Nigeria again. The nostalgia is real 😥
