Thanks for the shout out, it's a pleasure to help out, albeit it by a few small beans per month. STAY STEALTHY! Funnily enough, years ago I went out with a lady who had a large shaped thing like that outside the cave, and that had been rubbed to death & worn out making it rather large.......🤭🤭 Stay lucky. Best one for me yet mate . St Cuthverts Cave was my first ever solo wild camp. The Cheviot being my second. I got totally lost in the Cheviots thinking that I could read a map. I took a wrong path straight out the gate mate. Took me ALL flipping day to get to the bottom of the Cheviot, at which I had to camp due to loss of day light. Woke the next morning, climbed the Cheviot then continued to get lost the whole next day. Thankfully I have learnt to read a map now. This is a great series mate. Thank you fir bringing back some great memories. 👍 Good luck for 10k I will share the hell out of it mate.

It's got to be a diesel heater, I've just fitted one in my small van, and it's very compact. Go for the 2kw, it's quite easy to fit and you should find a place to put it quite easily in you car. 🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍
@wanderingwhere2 жыл бұрын
just wondering how do u power yours, from what im looking they run at around 40 to 50 watts per hour ? and suck 16o watts for the first hour, am i wrong ?
@vanscran16722 жыл бұрын
@@wanderingwhere Hi, I use the leisure battery to power it. It uses about 4 amps per hour, just while it starts up, that's the glow plug mainly and is just for a couple of minutes. When it's up to temperature, you can turn it down and it will use about 1.5 amps per hour so very little really. 😀😀😀👍👍👍

I recommend a diesel heater, buy direct from Vevor for cheaper price ( about £10 more on eBay) and full warranty. Budget for £90 , buy a metal mounting turret for safety and easier install (£20+£2p&p eBay), white nylon fuel pipe £7 eBay, then I would recommend a 2kw unit as it is quite a bit smaller than a 5kw. You also need a hole cutter for the turret to drill through your floor. Check under you car and remove carpet ( wires can be underneath) before drilling to save any disasters!
@richardsracingmad2 жыл бұрын
The rest of the install is easy, loads of vids about. One thing to note, there are TWO identical looking five button controllers, I have the new model with blue figures and the red circle bottom left corner…..they work differently to the ones with red figures. But if you buy one with a new type controller, there are also a couple of vids you will find. Very happy with my Vevor heater…..
