Most fortnite players even at the top of comp level forget about unreal level don’t think beyond raw tracking, building/editing mechs, and a bit of IQ. Attachments is definitely something to look into, Pollo is proof of this.

I think the reason the players look bad is only slightly because they are worse. Mainly I think it’s the great aim and awareness. Even in other games really good players make really good players look like shit but the main thing that’s similar is great aim and awareness. When you read everything they do it seem like their decision making is garbage which is one of the main factors. You talked about out then running into bullets and I think that’s the main reason.

Ping does matter. Ping is the amount of ms that it takes for your client to send information to the server in order to cause an effect on the game. So if you with 30ms ping, tried to take a wall from a 0ms ping player, the 0ms player would have less time needed for the information to transmit, therefor the server gives them the wall instead of you! So yes, ping is extremely important, however frame timing and effective mechanics usually outplay hard 0 ping players. Hope i helped!

Taking walls is a true 50/50 In chapter one they changed how rebuilding pieces at the same place works, it used to be the same as placing a new place where it was 5ms+ your ping but now to rebuild pieces you need to wait 150 ms first so the ppl that are holding the wall with get a true 50/50 who takes the wall, thats why you and your duo should hold the wall together, so the summary anyone can take anyone's walls if there less than 145 ms and there execution is good enough

Yeah that 50/50 only works if all parties are on the same ping. Other wise it's a 25/75 in most cases if lucky. Lower the ping the higher chance you have of winning said "50/50" higher the ping lower the chance which in turns doesn't make it a 50/50 if you have a lower chance of snatching the wall lol

@@Doboxik You're wrong, perfect inputs will not change the MS time required for the server to receive information. I play on multiple pings, and when I'm on hard 0, I have never had anyone above 23 MS be able to effectively hold a wall. Although frame timing is extremely valuable, it simply stands no chance against 0 MS transmit to a server. You have to remember, if you got the wall while they were lower, it's simply probably because they are bad. A good player on 0 will best any great player on 90 MS.

@@xavi70perfect inputs wont change the 150ms time in between when walls can be placed, but your perfect timing will allow you to fit within the time period of placing the wall. Thats the same reason bullets can bleed through builds and it is called turbo building. No new build can be placed for 150ms after it is broken, and if after this time more than one player is holding that wall the game will decide at random which player gets the wall. Lower ping simply gives you more time to do the correct inputs, but if your 90 ping opponent is holding a wall you only have 50% chance of taking it even if you did machine perfect inputs
