You guys did not test it with the full frame adapter for the sony? That's like the primary reason to get it with the fx6 🤦♂️ Very difficult to compare the image when you're shooting cropped on the FX6
@chubbyemu3 жыл бұрын
the adapter wasn't released yet when we shot this, with no real ETA so we didnt know when it would be released. when i get some time i will shoot more with the adapter separately

Does anyone know what kind of Tophandle is being used on the RED? Especially the way the Rods are put on on the top of the body. Been looking for this combination for a long time!

Thanks for the video! But I think you can't make a good documentary without going up to at least 300mm. The "100mm boundary" is simply too wide to achieve a good composition, since you can't always go close to your subject without interfering too much. That's exactly why TV lenses (B4's etc.) go up to that focus length and with teleconverter (doubler) even up to 600mm. I have the Sony 18-110mm and it's just not long enough to fill up the frame in a lot of situations.

Beautiful video guys, subscribed ! I'm using now the pictor zooms but the Laowa is my next lens. 1 lens for everything with the full frame and anamorphic adapter. That's like the best deal ever

It feels a touch odd testing a super35 lens on the FX6. I got excited there for a minute...

Good point Alister. We wish that Laowa's full-frame adapter was available when we made this video, but now that the adapter has been released we hope to test it again!

Can you tell me the payload when you had the ooom on the BMCC 6K?

Honestly super awesome video! I am seeking do do this with the BMCC 6K Pro. Do you think the Nucleus Nano motor is strong enough or would you go for Nucleus-M?

I was looking for reviews and test footage with this lens as I consider expanding my gear as I get more work as a videographer and cinematographer. I was NOT expecting ChubbyEmu to pop up in this review and be operating and everything!

Which adapter did you use to go from EF to PL mount?
