I've heard of these, have not grown them. 9 months, I had plants that didn't produce last summer, I need to start very soon to avoid a repeat. What would you say is a comparable pepper to this (heat level)?

Ummm. Id say definatly start them as early as possible even now is good. Heat wise is similar to a jelapino or slightly hotter. perfect for cooking or eating strait up. I made mine with bacon and it was amazing.
