Why the fuck do people make things more difficult than it needs to be? The cowboys can't go deeper into the playoffs because they can't run the ball and they can't stop the run. Coaching and play calling has been trash on offense very basic and predictable that's not gonna cut it. If you look at the teams that went far in the playoffs all ran the ball like the Niners and Lions who played on the NFC championship game. The Packers who ran the ball down the cowboys throat and almost beat the Niners doing the same thing. The eagles in 2022 had the #1 rushing attack in the regular season and stuck with it in the playoffs and played elite. They beat the Giants and the Niners by running the damn ball and the defense held the opposing offense to 7 points. By the way the two playoff wins that Dallas have in the Dak era we ran the ball effectively and played great defense when it mattered. However every team that beat us in the playoffs ran the ball. The Rams in 2018, the Niners in 2021 and the Packers last year. It's not rocket science people y'all are thinking way too much. Y'all are reaching.

Ceedee got in his own head early in the 1st quarter and couldn't get out of it.. Dak was confused and could not go to his go to guy. dan Quinn decided to play zone for the first time all year instead of man leaving guys confused on zone depth and carrying guys.. Naw that's not it. The players definitely supposed to follow the leader. When the leader has the look of a deer in headlights they knew it was over. Passes he normally makes in the regular season he can't do it in the playoffs. That's what was in cds head. U can see it. Even the 1st pick. Look at the sideline. It was 7-0 going into the 2nd quarter and he threw a pick deep our side of the field. Don't let these goofballs fool u. Go back and look at the drives on espn. The defense held there weight until the turnovers started. Bet u change your idea of dak in the playoffs. Hell u should've known from the niner playoff games.

@bdgrey that's funny because I just seen the packers had 9 possessions total. Including the defense forcing 3 punts. On the other hand let's count those possessions the packers had. 2 punts from dallas, 1 turnover on downs a 2 picks with one being a touchdown and the other on our side of the field. So again. Y is it u want to pay dak 60 million. I absolutely seem the defense give up a touchdown in the 1st quarter. But they didn't give up any more points til somebody started turning the ball over. Go look at the scoring summary. U can't keep saying the defense didn't show up when all yr they been bailing him out. All of those scores during the season helped the points per game if u didn't know.

Playoff and SB experience have been highly correlative factors in post-season success. It's partly why the Chiefs have a legit shot at 3. They just have way more experience, and its going to be nearly impossible for another team to have more of that any time soon.

Last year, in the playoffs what's the matter of underestimating a young team, I'm coaching on both sides of the ball for us was horrific! The staff did not get the team prepared to play that game! The team obviously didn't buy into the game plan, weren't prepared to play the game simple!

My take on why they can’t is the offensive philosophy. They want to run finesse passing game as their strength. You have to have a bad ass passer to run this type of O. Dak is more fit to run a running game based offense, not just run more , A real running based offense. That’s the only way Dak can win big in the playoffs. 2014 cowboys was so strong cuz of Demarco Murray and our o line , remember? Too soft is us and we aren’t physical enough and playoff teams will be so that’s why we get our ass kicked!! It’s not about having Super Bowl players.

The offense doesnt neccesarily need to be running based, but yes a more balanced approach would definitely help. For offense specifically we just need to not be so one dimensional. Look, in that greenbay game(and in the buffalo game) we lost because they made the gamble to try and divert most of their defensive resources to stopping daks passing game, by far our biggest strength. They know that by studying tape that cd is daks favorite target, but has issues if he constantly double and triple teamed, that we have cooks running routes previously designed for gallup (who still wasnt right) and isnt as effective as he could be. They knew that blitzing dak is the worst possible thing to do as he is excellent at pre and post snap reading of the defense, however dak is almost entirely rythym based, so the best way to make him jittery is to cause issues with his wr route running. And greenbay did all this at the expense of having a really light box(again, because everyone and their brother was sent to defend the pass). If you ask me they were begging us to run the ball, practically rolling out the red carpet for it. A real example of taking what the defense gives you, but we choose to ignore it for whatever reason, to the tune of our doom. And its not like dak cant put points on the board against greenbay, he did last season, but because of our reliance on the pass game, and daks issues when not in rythym, make it really easy to defend against us if using that one particular way.

Dak could help Dallas win a SB only if he has a really good RB to help him out. Dak is good but not signing or drafting a good RB is beyond stupid. They could’ve signed Henry but they signed Zeke? Zeke! Wow! Moves like that mean that Jerry is not committed to winning in the post season. Dak is good but it’s stupid to believe that Dak is going to turn into Aaron Rodgers all of a sudden. They need a RB, but on a positive note they did sign a pretty good LB and have better options than they had at LB this time last season. They literally trusted Clark(neck) and LVE(neck) at LB? Any GM with that kind of reasoning has no business being called a GM.
