As a kid; I wanted to work for fully fledged studios such as Pixar, to help build my artistic talent since it helped inspire me to pursue in art. But hearing about the horrible treatment and conditions that the animation industry has received over the years makes me think to do independent work like Glitch. I am so happy that Indie Animation is flourishing and is becoming more popular and accessible to everyone. The determination independent creators have is truly amazing and incredible! Episode 3 comes out next Friday, and the creator of TADC said the show is gonna get darker with the third episode. There’s nothing wrong with 3rd graders liking it, but I really hope episode 3 really shows the dark psychology aspect of it Also, yeah, murder drones can probably come to Netflix (Also I will sigh extremely loudly in disappointment if it’s on Netflix kids)

They already tried to put Murder Drones on Netflix but in the end, they pulled out on the deal because Netflix wanted to change the name to "Meta Drones" because they thought the title was too violent. 💀

Indie animation won't be the silver bullet that magically fixes all the problems with western animation and sets off another "Timmverse era" of perfectly written, mature animation straight off the bat. Indie animation is still finding it's feet, and if/when it perfects itself over the next few years, there's always going to be the haters and nostalgic naysayers who are like "It's still nothing compared to the good old days of animation", but it's a step in the right direction and gives us hope

I hope, REALLY *REALLY* hope that Glitch will stand their ground and Netflix will keep allowing them to release their shows on KZbin, with Netflix just being a second avenue for more eyes on the show! If all or most parties can keep honoring their parts of whatever agreement they have, this simple concept of giving indie creators, shows, and teams the option to be shown on streaming services WHILE STILL UPLOADING THEIR FULL EPISODES TO PLATFORMS LIKE KZbin, (basically, NOT BEING exclusive to Streaming, or just one streaming platform) might be one of the biggest wins indie animation could have!!! I would love to make a show and be able to have it both online and free to watch, and showcased on streaming without being forced to make it exclusive or part of it exclusive! I hope this goes well for everyone!

1. This is free publicity for both Netflix and TADC, the latter of which is great. 2. There's NO threat of Netflix pulling any of the GLITCH's series, since they're not personally bankrolling it. They also retain creative control of the entire shebang. So the story will not be compromised.

I think this is a new gate for Artists all around…ppl who make animation for fun and want to show their stories can, it’s a double edge sword where u need yr vid to reach a high popularity on KZbin but when it does u get Support from mainstream to help reach yr vision. This all began with Arcane which only had around 10~20 animators for the entire show but after it’s box office sales it got a huge helping hand from Netflix

I love how most of the comments here are just saying that GLITCH and SMG4 are the same and how the guy who made Mario's PINGAS Gets Stuck In The Door is now partners with Netflix 😭😂 Regardless, this is truly the rise of indie animation. Another recent accomplishment of GLITCH was finishing up Murder Drones. It's their most visually impressive show and to see a fully animated series of that calibre for free on KZbin reach its final conclusion is just amazing on its own!

Considering how well-animated and rendered the Murder Drones finale was, having more funding is something Glitch could ABSOLUTELY abuse to the fullest extent. This would allow them to hire more people so more can be done at once, like working on multiple series simultaneously or pumping out well-animated and written episodes more swiftly. They could also afford more/higher quality assets and softwares that are part of creating these series. Honestly, I'm really excited about this sort of partnership for Glitch, especially with more series like Gaslight District potentially around the corner! P.S. I can understand why Murder Drones didn't get added; it's a finished series (aside from possible short-form content), Netflix may not have wanted to add it for one reason or another, or Liam himself may not wanted it on there (remember, the creators themselves have most of the control over their work). I've seen some MD fans who've feel conflicted about this, But I wouldn't jump to assuming it's Glitch pulling the rug out from under the series, there's a multitude of possibly reasons why it isn't on there.

Normally I would be pissed about TADC getting the Netflix treatment over Meta Runner but now I am feeling relieved that Meta Runner is hardly even considered by Glitch Productions anymore. Sounds crazy and ridiculous but to me it feels relieving each and every time that Meta Runner feels ignored by it’s creators now. I hope TADC does very well actually and Glitch focuses all their efforts on TADC themselves and make it as high quality as they can for their fans.

This is unrelated to animation, but Digital Circus going to be on Netflix as well works as a way to counter the current ongoing MrBeast drama. MrBeast being the biggest guy on the platform yet having these awful allegations and even a lawsuit related to Beastgames stuff with Amazon would by himself set a bad standard for online creators. If the biggest guy on the platform can't keep his company safe and pdf-file-free then why would smaller channels be any different? Now having Glitch with The Amazing Digital Circus being on Netflix it can act as a counterexample to "online creators are unreliable and a risky partnership" making this announcement extremely exciting.
