When my late dad raced at the Devils Bowl back in the 70s, it was his view that the track had more banking. Although the photos and video from that time frame looked a lot like it does today, so if there was more banking it wasn't much more than what it had in this video. Now I will add that I believe Tri State Speedway in Oklahoma has a elevated back straight similar to the D Bowl, I also believe I have been to a few others that are laid out the same way, they just do not pit in the infield.

We have a track here in central NY. Its Stewart Friesens home track because him and his wife live 5 miles from it. Its called Fonda Speedway and most drivers say with the random bump outs on inside you cant quite tell if its 5, 6 or 7 corners to get around it once.

I went to Placerville Speedway there was an accident sprint car flipped wing dug into the clay surface big chunk flew into stands hit lady right in the face. She ended ok but her face was swollen bad.

El Paso Speedway Park use to be higher on the back stretch by 10 feet. Visibility from the stands was also the reason.

Ive raced at Devils Bowls a few times in a modified and it is definitely the most unique track in my area. 3/4 is so fast because it goes down hill and 1/2 feels a lot slower and technical. Would have loved to race there more its just really hard on motors because of how long your on the gas from off turn 2 to entering turn 1. Sad to see it go, glad it got a really good finale
