Ooh, a heads up, you CAN turn the motor off, and still have the Kiox navigate for you - just keep pressing down to go from e-mtb, Tour, Eco, and OFF. The head unit will stay powered.

my type of adventure. Was in Scotland for two weeks this summer. Lucky with the weather and enjoyed it so so much.

Same here. We are normally in the Greek Islands in the summer but went to Scotland as didn’t want to fly under the current conditions. It rates as one of my most enjoyable holidays. We did the NC500 and stayed in Torridon and spent a week in Fort William so rented a couple of Cube Reactions as we had never ridden eBikes before and wanted to give it a try. That did it. We ordered two Kathmandus when we got home to replace our two Specialized (we’re more into Touring and Trekking than mountain biking).

What a fun adventure. You guys should have used a dual battery ebike with 1125Wh such as Orbea Wild FS or SCOTT Genius eRIDE. You could also carry an extra external 500Wh battery for those bikes and then have a total of 1625 Wh. You could probably do 100 miles with that setup. Perhaps in a another video you can do a long trip on a dual battery ebike. I personally have a 2020 Specialized turbo levo comp and I don't know if my bike could make that trip on one battery with 700 Wh. Thanks for the great entertainment of the videos.

I'm having a good laugh at a Welshman attempting Gaelic place names. Its not strictly Torridon but the South Coulin forest you were riding in. The lollipop route is my favourite but there is another route just West a little called the Beinn Damph loop which gives you another stunning descent.

OK. Let s say it like this: People don't do what this guys do... E bikes can handle rain. But please don't put your bikes in the river like this guys do 3:41 ...this will damge the motor 100%. If you want your motor to live a long time do not wash it... clean it properly...

Absolutely amazing! Breathtaking scenery! I am from Newfoundland and where I live in the Northern Peninsula a Little Town called Roddickton. With a View that will take your breath away. Overlooking the Appellation Mountains or nicknamed Clouds Hills from the locals. From a trip across the bay you can take the clouds trails along some of the biggest and famous fly fishing rivers in the world. From there you embark deep into the inner valley to the foothills with tall spruce timber and thick peat moss on each side of the trail. As you start the incline it will get rugged, with bog, water crossings and rock. Once you clear this section which is roughly 3 hours alone, you will be entering the tundra, with Scotland type of terrain you experienced there. After you enter the open tundra called the Flat Waters, in front of you is a view you will never forget. Miles and miles of mountains, fishing ponds packing 3-4 pounders of rainbow trout waiting to feed. Now that's the place for lunch! open fire on the rocks, cup of tea, and fresh baked trout! With moms home made bread of course! So from there it's yours to discover........... Ride hard!

my younger brother Joe done this Tour of Torridon and showed me the videos, he reckons one of the best places he has ridden in, I just looked at the constant unforgiving rock sections with no let-up and thought stuff that! maybe one day I will take it on. Well done guys next time bring a midge net/hat and your skin so soft. As a youngster, I once biked and camped in the middle of a forest in Ardnagarten, lets just say it was permanently dark lol midge bites for days!
