That is a neat looking pen and I will take a look at their pens. Thanks again for the planner, it arrived today.

such a nice pen, thanks for sharing. Not sure where to get them, but they are nice looking

The material of the pen is very interesting, in the best possible way. It's lightweight and durable, perfect for a pocket pen. I would probably use cartridges and then refill them with a syringe. I've been wandering through their site. I like that you can buy replacement nibs (out of stock at the moment). They use unusual materials with a classic design. I'd love to try the copper pen and see how it ages, but at 65 grams it's just too heavy for me.

That might be too heavy for me as well, but I probably wouldn’t write with that posted bringing it to 40 g. Maybe you saw the copper Pocket there, it is 83 grams! Their caps have pretty thick walls, which would account for the extra weight. Without the cap, it’s 40g also, but that would be hard for me to write with unposted.

I really like the gravitas pens and especially the dinky, though I would opt for another finish. Did they recommend silicone grease for the threads if you eyedropper it? I have a little Wancai mini with similar dimensions that I love and always have in my pocket. 90mm capped and 120mm posted. It holds a ton of ink the the 13mm barrel. The one downside is the small nib #5 or less. I like that the Gravitas has the #6 Jowo compatible nib. Thanks for the review!

The way I understood it, silicone grease was neither recommended nor discouraged if the pen is eyedropper filled. I didn’t and it’s been a few days now without an incident. I also filled my Gravitas Pocket the same way.

Nice pocket pen. How it compares to the Kaweco?

That’s an oversight on my part. I did bring out the sport for comparison but forgot to include it in the video because it was on another SD card.

Gravitas are my favorite (regarding nibs it's Sailor). My first proper pen I bought is the Sentry Ultem aka Big Dropper. Pen-Venture have great customer service and Gravitas have their seperate website which you can buy from, but is also run by Pen-Venture. Anyway, thank you. By the way, background noise (music?) is disturbing 😬

Lol. It's like white noise music that people use to relax to. I mentioned in another video that I liked it. 😄

There’s a new collapsing convert from Kaweco. I think it’s meant for the Liliput, but maybe it fits for this as well? (If you don’t want to eye dropper of course)
@AuthorsReserve6 күн бұрын
If you're referring to the Kaweco Foldable Mini, I purchased a couple but gave them away with some pens recently so I didn't have one to try on my own pen. I've purchased some more from Pen Chalet. And yeah, they are really handy. I'm going to keep a close eye on how the ink behaves with the titanium but I'm being told that it will be fine. So... 🤞

@ yep, that’s the one I meant indeed! Hopefully eye dropping works out well for you, otherwise you now have a backup plan 😅

Thanks for this presentation. I'm looking into buying a pocket fountain pen and gravitas seems to tick most boxes. Take care and carry on

Stay tuned, I'll be doing a video on that Gravitas Pocket as well. It's a new version with some updates.

Only thing missing for me is a clip, especially on an EDC.
@AuthorsReserve5 күн бұрын
Yeah, I get that. I think the idea behind this pen was to be as minimal as possible. On the other hand, a Kaweco Supra clip is a perfect, snug fit and matches the industrial aesthetic well. kzbin.infoUgkxpOgp_HI758OFPZqgDXllpLTK13bPiyN9?si=66yiNJSLRlGmLViM
