Is THIS the ULTIMATE STEERING WHEEL - GR Yaris Project

I’m adding my first upgrade to the already modified GR Yaris by Shmee150. Today, I’m addressing part of the problem with the driving position, the steering wheel not coming close enough and the poor grip on it. Rather than modifying the existing wheel, which would be a compromise, I’ve gone for an entirely new system. Have a look and tell me what you think. Is a racing wheel worth it? Do YOU need one?

Bucket seats , an engine tune , a big rear view mirror or replace it with after market rear view mirror with a camera mounted near spoiler ...

Get along to String Theory in Stratford on Avon, and exchange your Steering wheel for the Alcantara version, it feels a bit thicker and looks the business. Had mine done last week, only took 15 mins to be done 👌

Is this a 330mm or 350mm steering wheel?

Hi. It's a 330. The stock one is about 365. It adds weight to the wheel and feedback seems much more positive and stronger. I love that size but if you prefer a lighter wheel, go with a 350. To me, it felt like going from no force feedback to a good level. The stock wheel, perhaps due to both size and lack of rigidity felt very numb. This size is good for me. It's a Sparco 330B.

You know what, I haven't noticed so that's a no! Also, another thing was I found the stock wheel really thin. Maybe just me but I really like the thicker sparco wheels.

where did you the steering wheel controller? can you share the brand?

Steering wheel was from Demon Tweeks, the Sparco 330B. And all wiring etc was done by us.

Steering wheel button relocation kit is by Works Bell. Then you also need the boss which for the GR Yaris is I believe #550. Don't quote me on that - check and recheck the above info.

Where did you get the button holder from please?

It's from a company called RHD Japan. It needs to be paired with the boss adapter also.
