I'm always looking to evolve the content on this channel to be better each time, but I never thought I'd see the day where I upload a DRUM KIT video on this channel.... I'm definitely not a drum kit expert or player but this awesome portable setup from Buffalo Percussion was just too good to not feature on the show! Thank you to Buffalo for sending me this (not sponsored!) - let me know what you think of the drum kit in the comments below, and if you want to see any more gear features on the show just let me know, I'd love to hear from you! #TheStudioFamily

Okay, I started playing percussion about five years ago, and I’ve always used my school’s mallets and I’m looking to enlarge my stick bag. What're the best mallets for beginners? I need some yarn and clay/fiberglass.

I'd say look for cheaper things to try out, like Vic Firth Virtuoso etc to see if you like them first :)

I like the concept of the skinny bass mounted on a rack stand for stability. Curious as to how much, those two items, would be? It would save space. Thanks for the review!

I never understood why people dislike videos until I saw it on 0 dislikes and I wanted to be the first but then I looked at the likes and it was at 99 so your lucky being 100th is better than first I did enjoy the vid tho

I'm a drummer learning mallet percussion, I guess I feel like you here when I have to play marimba or vibraphone. Lol. If it was cheaper I would use it as a practice kit to travel with.

Traps 400 is better sounding portable drum kit. I had it for 10 years and still using it.

Me too Tommy. I totally agree, the Traps AC400 sounds and looks much better. 👍

I was down to get this for a few hundred, but that price is absurd lol. At that point, just get an electronic kit if you're really worried about size and weight.

This price is included 5% VAT of Taiwan and shipping cost. In this price we offer shipping to Australia, East Southern Asia countries, Unite State and Europe for all Adam's fans.

my impression is taht u didnt really tune the drums so they sound the way they do in the vid. probably tightening the snare up a bit n pressing on the tom heads to loosen them n let them vibrate more freely wld help the tone out a lot. n try playing heel up to get more power n punch in ur bass drum. clearly ur feet r struggling for volume. see if it wld make the kit sound a bit better after trying out these few things. but the price....
@AdamTanPercussion4 жыл бұрын
These are really good suggestions! I will try these 😁
@kevinfavela16494 жыл бұрын
Definitely a change of heads and fine tuning will make it alot better, those remo heads are the worst, i personally have Evans EC2’s on all my toms and a evans hybrid coated head as batter head but it appears to not have any reso heads and if it does i got evans snare side 300 and evans EC Reso and my bottom heads, and changing the snares to more wires or cables will help some too, for my batter kick i got Evans Emad2 which come with muffling already and it sounds decent without a reso head which that drum set doesn’t have, definitely buy some moongels to help with the boingyness of the kit too especially since it is single headed, but they are also great for any set like your export, another option is evans hydraulic heads or remo ebony heads for toms and for snare the evans ec reverse dot is decent too and a little more affordable but out of all the heads I’ve used, the evans EC2 and Evans hybrid are my favorite
@wendycheng56914 жыл бұрын
Yes, no matter Remo, Evans or Aquarian drum heads etcs, every drummer have their love drum head.

@mzmm41863 жыл бұрын
This just like the Arbiter Flats without the speed tuning feature or the Traps drumset at 2x the price. Both not-that-great sounding kits that never really made an impact. Sounds thin no matter how you mic it, and takes up about the same foot print as a regular bop kit. If you can find a set of Arbiter drums with their 1-Lug tuning system, you will find it's a much neater concept. Still sound like crap tho.

@wendycheng56914 жыл бұрын
No, its not a imitation. This drum have 1 1/2 inch thin shell and calculated the size of resonance opening (Nest Resonance Shell) could be keep in maximum projection and sounds real. You won't only get a head vibration voice. In bass drum we designed adjustable damping mask system (ADMS) and built in felt to control unwanted overtones.

For the price that they’re asking, the sound and quality is not all that great. There are better kids that are compact yet less expensive and sound better.
