Since you are in Skardu, I'd recommend you visit the Blind Lake on the way to Shigar, it's a great picnic spot. Shigar Fort is also a must. After that try out the bike rides in Sarfaranga Desert. You can also go for the paragliding in the desert, I had my eyes closed the whole time I was up there. There is also a place called Organic Village in Skardu which is absolutely stunning.

Yes. This is world's most unique and scenic flight. Skardu is located near the origin of three mountain ranges: Himalaya, Hindu Kush and Korakoram.
