UPDATE: Many of you guys have notified me that my rotation is wrong because Call of the Wild gives you beast cleave for 20s. I later found out that the site I was using for the build was entirely wrong and didn't even spec into that skill, so my rotation was technically not that bad, but still! I'll adress this in the next vid this Sunday and make sure to stick to Wowhead and Icyveins from now on! :D

Yes! :)) BM recieved some nice buffs along with the Ranger tree. It's in a much better spot aoe-wise. Most BM's in my groups are pumping big numbers again!

How do you have that % upgrade on every item what add-on is it?

The addon is called Pawn, it may be a decent tool for when you do lower difficulty content but I don't recommend trusting it higher up. Many times the upgrade is wrong, so always make sure to sim your characters when 600+ ilvl :) I just use it to see how many ilvl I gain if I put on that item.

pure single target on AOE pulls isnt bad, you can help drop things very fast, you can focus on some of the more dangerous mobs as well. the AOE is crap but single target can be insane.

Very true! I can imagine that prio damage being super useful on a bunch of pulls. First thing that comes to mind is the caster worms in mists. Maybe we'll do raid dark ranger build when we come back to bm? 👀

BM actually the best spec in the game for pure ST (check mythic sikran/nexus princess logs) the main issue is that marks is just better for any aoe hence no one plays bm in m+

Yeah as I said the ST feel good both in terms of output and rotation as you don't need to keep up cleave, but the aoe tree is so messed up it's really sad what they did to the spec for m+ players ://

you should get a weak aura for the frenzy stacks, it makes life easier as a bm because you're always under pressure by not loosing those 3 stacks and the beast cleave, also you have made a mistake in your bm rotation, once you use call of the wild you don't need to multishot since that talent, especially for a M+ build will also make all your pets cleave for 20 seconds

As far as I remember, when I played WoW BM was always fine or even pretty strong, for Season 1 of TWW i rolled my class/spec to main and ofc i got BM and its the worst hunter spec for the first time in what feels like ages lol

Played BM back in S3 of DF, played till 2.6k - not saying it was a bad spec or that I performed poorly, it was just unfun to play. I played around Barbed Shot and the crit instead of Alpha Beast procs. Easy spec, good dmg and utility but soooo damn boring and unfun.

Yep, even after this patch the spec performs much better but nothing is really new. If I could change the spec, Beast Cleave has to go/be made into a passive, and I'd massively buff Multishot dmg to make it a more purposeful ability to use when your Kill Command is down.

Well I've been playing m+ for multiple seasons and every single time I cant stick to one spec because I love all the different playstyles in this game :D I have a sort of Jack of all trades playstyle. I do wanna shoot for 3k rating and even the title eventually, but for now, I wanna explore all this game has to offer by taking all 38 specs to a somewhat competitive level :))

Brain dead Fury Warrior since WotLK. Get angry, stay angry and hit things. A living Bayblade. I'd love to see someone try the full macro build. Just to see what they think. GCD is in two sets. Big and small. Bladestorm - dragons - odyn's + rampage - execute - raging blow - bloodthirst. Off GCD as a third button Reckless - avatar - spell reflect ect. Then attach it to your small GCD. Scroll up.... scroll down... Repeat. hotkey for slam and whirlwind for when you're out of attacks to trigger. That or you use stacks from whirlwind. Enjoy playing wow on easy mode. Depending on your specs, you'll be hitting bladestorm just as often as odyn's, 45s or so.

If you think beast cleave lasting 6 seconds I bad. Then wait till you play MM hunter and lose trick shots on every single ability. Instead of being able to use kill command as many times as you want in beast cleave. Imagine everyone you kill commanded you have to reapply beast cleave with multi shot….

Yeah... I don't think its very comparable. MM aoe rotation doesn't feel awful to play, in fact it's almost identical to your single target rotation since you want to spend precise shots.

BM as Pack Leader is kinda cringe. Even before the re-work Dark Ranger is better in both ST and AoE, although the dmg in AoE is still really bad, especially compared to MM and Surv. The current hope is that the Dark Ranger re-work will considerably boost BM AoE dmg but it's hard to say. Just gotta cross our fingers and pray.

BM got butchered after BFA when the game went back to a talent tree. By no means is BM terrible to play now days, because I can outdps many of the meta classes, call of the wild I noticed you werent using than same with Dark Ranger as both fix many of the issues the class faces.

@CalebStearns Yeah, I definitely made some mistakes in the build that would make the spec a bit more fun, but that still doesn't fix the core issues for me. Call is still a 2min cooldown so you're still left with having to deal with the horrible multishot weaving gameplay every other pack. I will change the build next time tho and we'll see how I feel about it!

@@AdrianWarcraft Wish I could update but after giving up feral for guardian again this M+ patch. My week of keys on feral included 9/14 total keys with a leaver/no completion. This resulted in a quick ragequit, and a return on tuesday with a guardian respec so I can continue with progression in the game. This is the Feral Reality unless you are cutting edge.
