BT , it is the highest in Africam and the highest free standing mountain in the world at 5895 meters above sea level I like it that each time you go to anew country you indicate important features , very interesting indeed , i remember even in Burundi you mentioned the lake there.

Dar es Salam is the largest Swahili speaking City in the world

1. Usually when they say largest city in a country, they mean population-wise. You can say largest city by population, largest city by land area. 2. Yes you showed us tall buildings, but the surroundings are different from what you would find in USA. Here you are walking on a dirt path along the road and your shoes would be in a mess after the rain, but in USA there would be a nice sidewalk (bricks or concrete) and they do serious landscaping around big buildings (planting grass, flowers and watering them). At 2:15 a person in a wheelchair would have hard time on this sidewalk. In USA there would build the curve so that the wheelchair, parents pushing a baby stroller, person riding a bicycle can cross the road easily. 3. I found pictures of the US embassy in Bujumbura, Burundi showing an incredible landscaping around the building (I didn't write down the reference/source but I think they were from the contractor who built the embassy).

@@wanderollivierre4505 Actually when I arrived in Dar es salaam in 1977 as a Burundian refugee, what impressed me the most was Kilimanjaro Hotel. I thought it was similar to the best hotels that I had just left in Moscow, Soviet Union (where I had been a student). I grew up in the 1950/60s in the rural area of northern Burundi, and in Tanzania I worked in remote area sleeping in a tent (mineral exploration projects). So I am aware of dirt roads in the Motherland. I left Tanzania in 1982, and actually I am really impressed to see videos of how Dar es salaam has grown (big buildings, nice roads, good bus and train system).

Traveling through the vast United States can be quite expensive. In summer 2018 I accompanied a fellow Burundian who was moving to North Carolina. It took us 3-4 for days driving from Phoenix, Arizona to Raleigh, North Carolina (about 3 500 kilometers?). The number of trucks carrying goods on Interstate 40 (= highway linking east coast and west coast) really shows how the US economy is big.

Dar is the largest city by size and population..Kilimanjaro is the tallest stand alone mountain in the world..Tanzania is the biggest country in East Africa you can fit all East African countries in it and still alot of land mass will be available for another small country
