The tech is indeed real but it depends on which hand is throwing, not on timing or anything like that. When Vatu fires with his left hand you have to flick right, when he fires with the right hand you have to flick left (or vice versa, I can't remember). In the video you were testing it by flicking consecutively in the same direction, that's why the results were inconsistent and you couldn't figure it out. The spread is also automatically reduced the more upwards/downwards you're aiming, which is why Vatu likes to fight from the air.

Vatu isn't really a character that needs nany changes, but I would like it if he could reload cancel and if he no longer had dr while using his dash. The reload cancel change just makes him more fluid and not having dr on his dash makes it more rewarding for people to hit a clutch shot on him, since it's kinda hard to hit vatu while dashing anyways.

I haven't played him enough to comment confidently, but the dr dash helps him with getting out of and around the point with lots of aoe damage going on doesn't it?

Well only nerf if vatu ever get should be to his third talent and that's it

Nah, it's his one useful talent imo. The shadowbomb talent is meh, and the tp to allies talent just allows for the game to to to random allies instead of the enemy I'm looking directly at.

@@atari8603 it should be nerfed because it sets him PRt from other flanks? You have to land shots to actually make use of guru's dashes appropriately. Andro mains just get to be a plane now. Maeve gets to do the same for half the match. Dragon is a b52. But vatu gets a good Dr ability and that's too much? Reminds me of when people complain about zhin billow being too op.

@@atari8603 Nerfing to lift the rest of his kit is the wrong mindset. They need to buff or change the rest of his kit to feel different. flat nerfing what is currently good about him is only going to see him played less.
