I feel the dash bots were ok. Definitely OP at the time but still took some skill. In my opinion when they started making bots to battle Titans (Hawk), it was a choice between us or the money, and we didn't win. I will never forget that first, and now common feeling of being completely deleted by something other than a treubek Fury, and at the time there wasn't much to outrun the Hawk in the air(pre-nerf-nerf-nerf). If I'm not mistaken for the Hawk, I think when it was released the damage towards regular bots and titans was almost the same in it's ability.

Been playing this game for over a year and I can tell you, it's pay-to-win. You'll do fine with your first 7-8 mechs but after a certain point, you're facing samurai robots that can cloak and there is NOTHING you can do about it. There are no modules or abilities to see past their cloaking which means you are just a punching bag to them, no matter how much hp and shield hp you have.

@@ManniGamingNot sure. There is a way that players get to rent out either a shielded bot or Ronin, so you might be able to try it if you play for a little while.

@@ManniGaming For sure! You are able to counter them but not effectively because often these samurai mechs come with jump or dash abilities in greater and faster successions than your regular mechs, making it harder to stay on point. It also only really works if your weapons are on the same height as their robots. Lets say you are running a Paladin, one of the robots with 5 top-mounted weapons and you are going up against a thin profile samurai with two heavy shotguns. You'll only be hitting the samurai with two weapons because the 3 other ones will miss as well as your drone. Even with rockets that deal major splash damage, you'll be in for a real struggle to counter them. Arguably, this game takes way more skill because you need to actually counter these meta-robots. There are no orbital lasers nor shields that deploy from ships above you, so if your robot's existing shield is down, you have to do your all to dampen/avoid the damage. Ultimately, you'll lose your robot to a samurai in a 1v1, so if you ever come across one, make sure to be close to a teammate to increase the chance of survival. In a way, I feel like you could be very good at this game as it is extremely skill-based, even with meta robots. Though, at a certain point when you reach the equivalent of MK3 weapons, you'll be 2-3 shotting people from 800m with ease, making it slightly boring in a way, but that doesn't mean you're in the clear as you're now THE target and priority on the battlefield.

Yes, you can hit them with manual aiming. I have done so many times, and destroyed real players. This game is really amazing. You can choose to go Free to play and still be able to compete. The drone function provides you with an extra weapon, which is really cool and helpful. Getting gold in this game is relatively easy and free. You don't have to pay real money to obtain the robot or weapon that you want. I recommend at higher levels to obtain a robot with stealth feature, so that you can destroy such robots more easily at the enemy side, but it is not mandatory. You can still dominate stealth robots with high level robots that you like and good level weapons, without having a stealth robot yourself. I really recommend you to play this game. It is so much fun. @@ManniGaming

And thats the forst robot of stealth nature you will want to buy, bc after you get one, eraning silver and gold is easy and fast, after that you can build anything you like and play it.

I could send you the tiering calculations as well Manni. You can have some pretty darn strong stuff in very low tiers. To be clear, the tiers aren’t stated, but we found code of how many tiers there are, and many people figured it out. So basically a lot of people have figured out how to tank in this game.

Hey manni gaming love the vid and your review on the game but I was wondering if you ever have time to spare to try out B.O.T or Battle of Titans it's a pvp team based game with 2 maps robots weapons and a variety of options as you said before that war robots doesn't allow you upgrade engine,ability cool down, leg armor exc. This Game however has the options to upgrade into whatever strategy or builds you want either more health more defence exc. Hope you have a Good Mood friend.

This game has been around for ages, it feels like there’s npcs sometimes but aside from that it’s fun. The only real issue is that later on older robots like predator get invalidated but like… entirely. Watcher and bison are both just better, ability, shield, and durability-wise. What are your thoughts on having “direct upgrades” to robots Manni? I personally would like to see every bot have a niche that it can fill so everyone can enjoy the bots they want but maybe that’s just me. What’s funny is Robot Warfare actually got a remaster about 6 months after war robots remastered itself lol

I’d love to see you play this game though and you could even look at Jurassic Monster World, essentially a dinosaur version of war robots (it predates dino squads)

I played this game for some time. As you said, right at first, it was great and than as I started to progress further, I encountered more meta players and eventually, I came to a point where my entire team was getting entirely meched out and we lost due to no more team mates and I saw the meta enemies players running around in the top bots. I was getting top place for a good week straight and than it dipped down to losing 8 out of 10 battles. Compared to WR though, I'd choose this game since there isn't over 20 currencies and you needing everything to get stuff, it's just silver and gold. There is no special deliveries where you need tokens to get new bots as well. And all meta bots you can get in special offers for about half the price that it would be to purchase the gold to buy them so it is a pretty balanced game economy wise. I'm just tired of gane that require purchases if I'm not sure I'll be playing it long term so I've moved to games like World of Warcraft and Neverwinter cause those are easily life long games that have endless updates and console/PC games are way less glotchy than War Robots.

Played the game several years alongside war robots completely for free. It is fun and I got even very advanced weapons and bots like samurai or ronin and so on. I put not a single penny in this game, but this way I needed very long to get all these stuff but it is possible.

Manni, go and try honkai star rail. Though its not a robot game, you fight robots (well in the 2nd and 3rd worlds), yes i did say worlds, and im not lying you explore different worlds in this game and its fun, the memes are amazing the graphics are great and the story is really good, character designs are great, overall gameplay depends on the person you ask, so go ahead manni try it out (since you're trying out other games that are not war robots) also the game is on pc and mobile ps5 coming soon

Manni, try out this game called B.o.t, its kinda like war robots but without drones healing things, you can aim up down, fly up and down, reload, aim assist, you can add armor to the robot, mostly not pay to win, i dont think they have p2w, high graphics dynamic damaga, you got damaged on your thrusters, you walk fly slower, ther is damage on leg, core and rotating gears, and alot more, tbh i like this game, its just felt like it doesnt have enough player to play, this fame probably have alot of potential

The only weapons that are worth leveling in Robot Warfare is shotguns, short lasers, and flamers. On a few certain builds long lasers are good too.

You said you said exactaly what I wanted to say aboth this game War robots looks and feels,with no better word coming to mind,smoother. A game I would like you to check out if you haven't yet is Battle of Titans or B.O.T This game is small and definidly could use more of basically everything,it has just a few robots and weapons,only 2 maps and 2 game modes and the player base is small seeing as matchmaking can take up to 2 min or more But the graphics and designing are really good and the game isn't too complicated at all. I do have to say that you need to play it a bit to feel how it is to get out of low leauges,enemies become way stronger for some reason but I feel this is beacause of the lack of mid-game players,you jump from starter leauge straight to maxed out players,not beacause of p2w,but beacause there is no other players to play with I belive. All gameplay I saw of this game on yt is maxed out high leauge gameplay. Thank you for reading,if you did.

Many AI bots in this game. Yama is the strongest bot, Dilong, Legioner, Assyrian are also very favored ones. Lung, rampart and Fucanglong are also liked. I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple, it’s been a while.
