1 . Considering the Seraphim are modelled of the warlords I think a Crocodile Seraphim could disprove or prove the Crocomom theory 2. I think that Boa's devil fruit might have the same scenario as Luffys since they were both have paramecia fruits AT FIRST, but when they awakened the fruit their appearance will chance and they both become Mythical Zoans and for Hancock's case i think it should be the Snake Snake Fruit Model Gorgon. So i STRONGLY believe Boa Hancock's devil fruit will awaken and the WG will reveal the DF's real name like Luffys did. You could link it to greek mythology in which Medusa (or Gorgo) is a women with snake as hair who transform man to stone. She is one of the 3 Gorgo (ref to Hancok sister trio). I think that Boa Hancock Devil fruit awakening is that of a Gorgon. It the reason she can turn people into stones because she is partially using the Gordon's power. Maybe the deeper the user mourn for the lost of a loved one, the more powerful they become changing that beauty into a beast during their awakening. According to Greek myth, Medusa was extremely beautiful before she was turned. If Blackbeard goal is that devil fruit, it makes sense for him to take the easy road by having someone in his crew that can turn anyone into stone without having to actually fight.

Yamato's flashback is not damage control because chapter 1059 has already been finished by the time chapter 1056 or even 1055 was out. So this was all intentional. A manga chapter being 3 weeks ahead of its publication time is also not just exclusive to One Piece, it's the standard for pretty much almost all weekly manga. My best guess is that Oda purposely left out the flashback for later because of the following reasons: 1) Oda wanted Wano's ending to focus on closing out the Kozuki storyline; 2) Oda wanted chapter 1057 to be the volume ending chapter (most logical IMO); 3) Oda wanted a surprising/shocking farewell to Yamato's character. 4) All of the above. I'm actually quite surprised (and shocked to be honest) that there are long-time One Piece (and generally manga) readers who don't know this 3-week buffer per chapter standard yet, as it's been a pretty common knowledge in manga fandoms/communities for a long time now. Also contrary to what some might believe, Oda doesn't read fan theories/discussions about his manga. He doesn't want fan reactions/theories to influence his storytelling decisions so he avoids reading them altogether.

Why is it that so many people have this notion that these kind of flashbacks are damage control because of "unresolved" plot points when it's more probable that Oda did not want to reveal the resolution of the mystery at that point? There are other mysteries that Oda has handled in this manner, such as Ace's vivre card being introduced in one plot arc, explained in another plot arc, used in yet another plot arc, and destroyed in yet another plot arcs. Why are people patient with some mysteries and not patient with other mysteries? Why is there a lack of consistency with the patience and trust in Oda? P.S. I'm not trying to make everyone agreee with me. As someone who likes hearing and reading different opinions (with their reasonings) of fictional stories that I love, I just want to understand the logic behind this opinion.

i don’t think any of the ace vivre card info was revealed via a flashback, it was learned by the audience when the straw hats learned about it. that’s an example of some info clearly meant to trickle into the story over time. the wano resolutions we’re getting now should have happened before leaving wano (and apparently did happen), but oda decided to do this bizarre 7 day timeskip, forcing him to utilize a clunky narrative tool in the flashback just to explain what happened in the time he skipped, probably just so he could have that green bull moment before the month-long break, and then speedrun to the cross guild reveal to create hype. which i understand the appeal of, but i really don’t think hype should come at the cost of foregoing linear, sensible storytelling and organization. there wasn’t really a benefit to NOT explaining marco’s epilogue until now, oda just had to do it now for, as you say, damage control, to make up for the fact that he forced himself to omit the info earlier i think the only wano loose ends that are sensible to leave out of the story until their proper time are the pluton and ancient wano-related lore reveals, bc they’re pretty clearly end of series related. but i feel like there’s not really a reason to exclude (as of now) a basic explanation or a hint of one, about things like: what did the rest of the kaido and big mom pirates do in the falling action, what of drake and apoo, what of that undersea explosion near udon, why’d zunesha just dip when her residents were still on wano lmao, what’d zunesha and momo talk about when momo stayed behind on zou when the alliance was first formed, etc. now, it’s possible that the stuff i mentioned isn’t as straightforward as typical falling action events and could be end of series lore related, but the reason ppl are getting antsy is that…we’re already at the end stage of the series, which oda even reorganized to truncate. if not now, when? there’s less and less real estate in the story to occupy. i think there’s a very real possibility that if oda continues to do his long-form writing in the way he’s always done, we could just straight be left with unanswered questions after the ending. which would be disappointing for obvious reasons

If the mero mero no mi does allow his user to take advantage of the opponent's feelings/emotions, BB might have identified it as a devil fruit against which his Yami Yami no mi won't help. During his fight against Ace, he could absorb the flames but absorbing/controlling his own emotions and feelings is different than absorbing an opponent's attack. BB might not want to use the mero mero no mi for himself nor give it to one of his commandant, he might just want to get it and keep it so that nobody uses it against his feelings and himself. If the theory about BB already having 3 types of devil fruit were confirmed, him getting Hancock's DF could well be a preventive move from him as he is very cautious and calculated.

The Yamato change was not damage control. Oda writes at least three chapters in advance so he would not have time to respond to feedback. Oda also does not like responding to feedback as he likes writing his own story. This was likely always the planned reason, but it did not make sense to include it in a chapter all about Momonosuke.

Hancock managed to blackmail marines AND A yonko at the same time, Teach would have had no choice but to bargain if he wasn't such a piece of shit. And the clout that Rayleigh brings... Blackbeard saw first hand as a kid the strength of prime Rayleigh, and Teach being who he is (someone who does not make a move unless he's 200% sure he comes out on top without a scratch) he didn't want no smoke from the real Dark King. yes Rayleigh would die and Blackbeard would have won, but it would have cost him an arm or a leg. He doesn't see it worth it and pulls out.

9 out of My top 10 favourite characters had a part in the last couple of chapters! Here are my favourite and what they recently got: 10. Ceasar(helped the Germas and reminded us how strong he is by facing off Oven and Katakuri) 9. Blackbeard(got a significant bounty Increase and gave us a first real glimpse of his powers and plans and Learned that he defeated Wang Zi.) 8. Mr 3(Cracked me with his Buggy betrayal. Love to see him again with Croco!) 7. Magellan(the only one of my top 10 that didn’t got to shine since the time skip) 6. Usopp(he was disappointing in Wano but at least he got a significant bounty increase and now worth 500,000,000) 5. Nami(She got a well deserved Bounty Increase and Now worth 366 million) 4. Rayleigh(he pulled a Shanks on Blackbeard and stopped him from killing Hancock). 3. Katakuri(got to see him in action by defeating the Germa and now by facing Ceasar) 2. Crocodile(he had an amazing bounty increase from 81 million to 1.96 Billion which is almost as double than Katakuri and higher than any Yonko commander other than Mihawk) 1. Zoro(although I was disappointed with his story in Wano(not the fights, just that we didn’t get any connection to Wano or extended backstory)… that being said, he Still got an amazing Bounty Increase and now worth 1,111,111,111 B, which is kinda low for his Wano feats, but still very respected and higher than Jack, Sanji, Katakuri and Jinbie). I’m very happy!

Witch could be seen as kind of a forshadowing to the possability of it being the case. BTW Luffys devil Fruit cant realy be compared to other Mythical Zoans. Since it is a fruit that has been classified as having 2 types.(The Gomu Gomu no mi abilities in gear 2-4) Only after using Gear 5th Luffy started to gain Mythical Zoan abilites.(So far only Marcos Tori Tori no mi Model Phoenix has shown abilities of 2 Different Types).His Full Zoan Fruit is able to Essentialy Instantly heal and Protect him even from Logia attack as we saw in his fight with Kizaru.Hoever so far we didnt see a second DF to share that trait aside from the Yami Yami no mi that was a logia that acted more like a Paramecia.

That yamato flashbacks is not damage control by Oda, Oda already way ahead with his chapter writing, he probably summit this chapter before chapters 1057 been published...Oda never makes mistakes with his writing, all of his decision was on his own will and creativity...as a result we get so many payback from it in the future... Looking at the past Oda done this many times and in the end all loose end and plot holes get perfectly explained by Oda in the future chapters...fan should believe Oda more because he was currently the best mangaka in storytelling and worldbuilding...

I don't think Oda cares about what people think. He mentioned it in numerous interviews that he'll never change his story no matter who gets angry or frustrated. Recently he was asked this question again by Conan author. He even said if someone predicts the ending correctly, he still won't change anything. He has all the story already mapped out.

An interesting detail about Blackbeard's bounty: if you read the non-zero numbers backwards, you get 6993, or "ro-ku-ku-mi". "Rokukumi", better spelled as "Rokugumi", sounds a lot like "Rokku-gumi", which would translate to "Rock(s) group/crew/crime family". This clearly seems to be another reference to Rocks D. Xebec on top of Teach's theme of 3s you mentioned.
