So basically, in Bulgaria when you pinch someone (usually a little kid) you say "щип" (shtip) and the word in the og song probably refers to fiki (the singer) pinching a girl's butt. Although I'm not sure the words "щип" is usually followed by "щибидидидип" (shtibidididip). It has existed in Bulgarian slang for ages and its just now that it's gaining mass popularity. :)

The fact that I’m Gen Z, and I should at least be the generation closest to understanding these things. But I just can’t. I remember the moment that got to me was when I was scrolling KZbin at night. Somebody made a comment, and in come the slew of Brainrot talk. I think it was meant to be ironic to make fun of the Brainrot talk itself. But I remember just staring at these jumble of words mashed together for about a solid minute. Before immediately deciding that was enough internet for the night. I'm elder Gen A (in my teens) and I can confirm that kids at my school unironically "mew" and I have been in math class and heard a boy ask another boy if he had Rizz & the same boy asked several other people if they were an Alpha.
